Clint looked out the window after he got out of bed to find Wanda sitting in front of Pietro's grave. At first he was just gonna go back to bed but something in him told him to go talk to her. After what had happened a few days ago, he's been talking with Laura, telling her whatever was on his mind and eventually he returned to his old ways of loving her. He looked back at his wife to find her still sleeping, so he took it as his opportunity to leave. As he stepped outside the house he was surprised to find the weather warm with a light breeze. His eyes never left her figure while he walked towards her, stopping when he was only a few feet away. He contemplated turning back and walking away but he decided to sit right next to her, looking at Pietro's grave. "You know," her voice startled him slightly. "he would always dream about running around the world, being in a new place every night. I called him delusional because we were in poverty but eventually i looked right at him and said, 'don't let anyone ever stop you from living your dream, not even me.' Something in him changed that day, he became more determined to make that happen until the shells hit." She sighed. "I don't blame you for what happened to him, i never did. He made a choice to save your life that day, and i respect that, i'm glad he did. Now, i want to let him rest. No more regret, no more what if's. He died, he's dead, he's gone, and i'm okay with that. I am now, at least."

The archer smiled to himself slightly. She was right. It was his choice to put that car in front of Clint and that's something they've come to terms with. He put his arm around her as she rested her head on his shoulder. "Yeah, me too."

"Do you have to go?" Lila asked, looking up at probably her favorite person. Wanda had made the decision earlier that day to head back to New York, the compound. Usually, whenever she even thought of the place it would make her stomach turn but now, it made her feel relieved in some sort of way. That's how she knew it was time to head back. "We didn't even get to watch all the movies yet, or-or bake a cake."

The witch squatted down in front of her. "I know but next time we'll do all that stuff and more. Okay?" Even though she wanted to protest, the little girl nodded her head. Wanda went to Laura, giving her a hug one more time.

"Are you sure you're gonna be okay? Because we don't mind you staying a bit longer-"

"I think i've stayed long enough. Thank you, Laura, for everything." She looked at to find tears in her eyes but they weren't sad, they were grateful. The witch waved at them as she made her way to the jet, Nat and Clint already waiting in there for her. Wanda sat in the seat just behind Clint.

He looked back at her briefly. "Did you get everything?" She nodded. "Are you sure?"

"Yes," she let out a light chuckle. "Let's go."

His eyes went to Nat as she started the jet, closing the bay door before taking off. They had left around noon-ish, Wanda wanting to get there before the next day. As she looked out the front and only window, she put her earbuds in, deciding to listen the music at least half the flight. Lately, music has been sort of important to her, it becoming a new way for her to cope or help her depression. She didn't think it had been that long but when she saw the sun begin to set, she realized that it had been hours since they had left. So, she checked the percentage of her phone before turning off her music. Nat looked back to her. "We still have an hour or so left, you should get some rest."

Wanda thought on this but decided to stay awake, wanting to be in a certain place before she slept. You'd think that she'd be bored staying up with nothing to do but actually it was the opposite. Having time like this to relax and breath was rare for her so she made the most of it by doing nothing.

They arrived at the compound late in the night, some of the agents and guards still there to either refill the jets gas or to run a few things by the two assassins. Wanda decided to head in for the night, leaving them to their work. She leaned back in the elevator, pushing herself off once it dinged for her floor. As she walked down the hallway of the living quarters, she couldn't help but reminisce of how she'd walk down them feeling nothing but now here she was, feeling something. The brunette let go of her suitcase so she could open the door to her room. Her eyes danced over the place, as if it was the first time she was actually seeing it. She put her guitar case on her bed before dropping her backpack on the floor. Wanda didn't bother collapsing into the bed, knowing that she wouldn't be there for long. She turned to leave but ended up running into someone, causing her to jump. "Vis!" After she looked up at him she chuckled. "You scared me."

"My apologies, Wanda. It was never my intention." The android stepped back to give her space.

"It's alright."

He nodded. "Your sudden disappearance was startling at first but i came to understand the reasoning behind it. It is wonderful to see you again, Ms. Maximoff." With that he left, leaving her slightly confused but she just shook it off, soon leaving the room as well.

The hallway was quiet, making it the perfect opportunity. She went down to a certain door, opening it before going inside. Her movements were careful so to not wake the sleeping figure in the bed. Wanda slipped off her shoes and socks after closing the door. She made her way to it, coming into the sheets. Bucky rustled, his hand finding its way to her waist, instinctively pulling her closer. A smile spread on her face as she nestled into him but not before her red mist went into his head to stop the nightmare that was happening. He relaxed, letting out a sigh. Her hand traced over his face carefully, taking in his features. His hair was short, freshly cut she believed. It made him look different, better even. Soon enough sleep consumed her.

............................................................................

Bucky lazily opened his eyes slightly, closing them as he pulled her closer. He didn't realize it at first but when they opened again, they looked down at the person in his bed. A part of him thought he was still dreaming but as his hand ran over her cheek he realized that he wasn't. His breath seemed to be caught in his throat, doing nothing but stare at Wanda while she continued to sleep. The soldier couldn't help but notice how different she looked. Her hair was almost past her mid back, her cheeks were no longer as sunken as before with the natural glow in them coming back, and her face was full of life. He swallowed, his hand moving a strand of hair from her face to see her better but as he did that she scrunched her face slightly, which made his heart skip a beat, before opening her eyes. It was a moment until she looked up at him, a smile spreading on her face. Bucky cupped her cheek, stroking it gently with his thumb. "You're here." The softness and warmth in his voice gave her butterflies.

Wanda placed her hand on his wrist, the one cupping her cheek, nodding her head slightly. "I'm here." Her accent rolled off her tongue which he missed. He came closer to her, smiling as he placed a light kiss on her lips. They both the took in the other, this possibly being the first time in years they have been able to. Their heads rested against each other once they pulled away. "I'm here."
