El awoke to the cold night air and dark sky. She shivered and sat up. She rubbed her arms trying to warm herself up, but failed. Her teeth chattered as she got up to keep going. She didn't know where she was going, but she knew she had to find a road. She started walking ahead. After a while, the sun started to rise. She kept walking throughout the day, she had to keep going, even though she was tired and hungry. She trudged along the forest floor, praying that she was close. As the sun started to set, she was giving up hope, but then she heard a noise. She ran forward and found a road. She exhaled in relief. Maybe she could get a ride with someone like that man in the big truck. But the road was close to empty, so she set forward into the night, determined to get home. She walked along the gravel, hoping someone would come by and notice her, but no one did. She passed by a sign that said 'Welcome to Indiana'. She smiled. She was close to home. She wondered what her friends would say when she returned. I mean, she was supposed to be dead. But the body they had seen was fake. The horrific scene that Mike saw was fake. She kept going along the road until sunrise. Her stomach ached in hunger and her legs felt like they were going to give out. She was dizzy from thirst and hunger. And then they did give out. She hit the rocky ground hard, and dived into unconsciousness.
