In an interview for chemical hearts Lili says that Archie and Betty will have to explore their "obvious" feelings for each other. This makes me very angry cause Riverdale has been having the bughead/Varchie ships for 4 years and now their throwing it away. I feel like this is not going to give drama I think this will stop viewers.( this is my opinion, trying not to hate Barchie fans, I just hate the ship not the people) I think after Archie and Betty find out Jughead and Veronica are seeing new people that will force them to be with each other because they will think the people they love don't love them anymore. That whole Barchie musical kiss has changed my way of Betty as a character and I don't like the direction she's going. She not only betrayed her boyfriend but her best friend. The only reason I still have hope is she stopped the whole bunker song. I get it people make mistakes and hopefully bughead will eventually rekindle but I'm not sure how their going to do this. After the musical episode it seems like they changed their whole 4 year dynamic. I really don't know if bughead has a future and I hate to say that so much, cause they were the perfect ship(in my opinion). They understand each other perfectly, both have similar passions and dreams, both were loyal, and loving. I feel like at prom a video will show up of people in a Betty and Archie mask recreating the kiss and that's how everything will spiral downhill. I for once am not looking forward for this new season cause to me it sounds like we won't be getting out iconic due and friendships we have gotten in the past 4. Season 5 will not be like the rest and I don't know what to expect.
