My Troubled Angel *A Nalu Story*

Chapter 5

*Lucy's POV*
Today was the day of the test for our bet, tomorrow the scores for the test will be posted marking tomorrow the end of our bet. I haven't seen Natsu around after we made the bet, I would only see him during classes throwing a few winks my way.

I was going to tell the girls about the bet I made with Natsu, but I thought why bother he might not even get the 100% on the quiz. I mean I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but on the last quiz he got the lowest score out of everyone. He got 10%!!! I think I have a 99% of winning this bet unless he somehow succeeds, then I'm screwed.

I walk into class to find Natsu in his desk...... reading a book?!?!? He looks up and meets with my eyes, we stay there for a while like it was a staring contest.....until we were interrupted by the bell.

"Okay class, we will start the quiz right after I take attendance, and I hope you all studied because this will be the hardest you will have to take. It's more difficult than the others you've taken this semester." Mr. Capricorn said making the whole class groan, while I was smirking.

Their is no way Natsu can pass this test he failed all of them with the same score like the last quiz or lower. I am so winning this bet. Goodbye Natsu!

The Next Day
I woke up extra early today for some reason, 'maybe it's because today is the last day we will ever see Natsu again' my conscious said and a smile appeared on my face. I got ready quicker than usual doing my regular routine only this time father was here. I tried to sneak out of the house without him seeing me but I ended getting caught anyways.

"Lucy." He said and I looked back to see him motioning me to go to him. "Y-yes father" I stuttered. "How are you? I haven't seen you in three days since I've been busy at work." 'Oh so now he cares' I thought. "I've been fine" I responded.

"That's good to hear" he said with a cold chilling voice that sent shivers down my spine. My mind was warning me saying run he's up to no good, but my body just wouldn't move. He got up from his chair and cracked his knuckles. 'Uh oh' was all I thought before everything went black.

I woke up to be surrounded by broken glass. 'Again really' I thought. I made my way up stairs to fix my cuts. I had some glass in me here and there, but it was nothing compared to other times.

I put on my black tights to hide the cuts on my legs and I put on a sweater to hide the ones on my arms. I put on some foundation to hide the bruise at the side of my face from the punch my father gave me I'm guessing. I look at the time to check if I was late since I was knocked out for who knows how long. 'It's still early' I thought as I made my way to school.

My friends were outside waiting for me like always. We talked and laugh for a while until it was time for first period. We were walking to class when Natsu and his group of friends stood in front of us, just to.....stare. What is it with them and staring. He took a few steps close to me and then leaned over to my ear.

"Your mine" He seductively whispered into my ear, only to walk away with his group of friends following behind me. "What was that all about" Cana asked with a smirk on her face.

"Nothing! That's just Natsu being Natsu!" I said waving my hands in the air. "Mhm" my friends said together. We were still walking to class when all of a sudden Mira yelled something " I got it now! Nalu" we all looked at her with a concerned or questionable face, but all she did was smile and continue walking.

Class was almost over when the teacher had an announcement to make. "I have graded all your test and to be honest I am disappointed in most of you. A majorly of the class got 70% or lower, 13 of you above that percentage and one of you got 100%." Th class started to mummer and I started to worry. It was either Levy or Jellal the smartest students in our class who got 100 or it was Natsu. I looked at the back of class to see Natsu with a smirk on his face staring at me. I'm scared.

"Listen up I will only call those 14 students and their percentage. Bacchus and Cana got 74%, Gajeel got 75%, Bixlow and Lisanna got 80%, Juvia and Gray got 85%-"

"Gray-sama and Juvia got the same score" Juvia said squealing while the whole class laughed. The teacher soon shot a glare to the entire class making everybody quiet down.
"As I was saying Erza, Lucy, Mira, and Laxus got 88%, Levy and Jellal got 92%, and last, but not least the one student with 100%" my eyes widened at the word that left our teachers mouth. I was right, I'm screwed. "Natsu".

Everybody looked back at him, but I didn't. I didn't want to see the smirk on his face knowing he won the bet.

I heard foot steps coming my way, I looked back to see it was Natsu with a smirk on his face. "Mine" He said and in a quick motion he slung me over his shoulder and walked out of the classroom. I heard our friends and the teacher calling out our names, but I was still shocked at what had just happened that I couldn't move.

Natsu just got 100% on a quiz. He just won the bet and I became his girlfriend. He threw me over his shoulders like a sack of potatoes and carried me outta of class. I said it once and I'll say it twice, I'm screwed.
