Chapter 15

*Lucy's POV*
It's been a month now since Michelle left. I still remember it. She was screaming and crying, holding onto to me like I was to her. My father had to hold me back just to let her go.

I haven't gone to school since that day, I still talk to my friends and Natsu telling them it's a "family trip". I stay in bed all day sleeping and crying. I had to go to the hospital two times this month due to the lack of food and me cutting.

My dad doesn't abuse me anymore, he just comes in and out of my room checking on me, saying "we both have to live and suffer together".

It's all he wants me to do suffer like he did when my mom died. He had no one to understand him, I had Michelle and Sting. We understood each other.

But now... I have no one, I would have sting, but then again I haven't told him anything. Yet again he's always busy with something and it's not my duty to tell him everything. Or maybe it is.... I don't know anything at this point anymore.

Tomorrow would be the day I go back to school, faking a smile for everyone again, being the happy girl they know and love. What if I don't smile, I thought, would they turn their backs on me because of it and leave like everyone.

What would Natsu do? Break up with me, bully me, leave, hate me.

Well... I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

-The next day-
I wake up hearing a knock on my door at 6 in the morning. 6 in the mother flipping morning.
"Go away!" I yelled at the person knocking as I threw a pillow at the door.

"Lucy you have to get up, it's time for school" my father said knocking on the door one more time.
"I don't care, I'll go tomorrow Jude" I said with a tone of annoyance in my voice.
"Now Lucy you said you would go today after a month of weeping. A month has passed so it's time for school" he said through the door.
"Would you look at that, your acting just like a father would" I said sarcastically. I heard him sigh through the door.
"Lucy, please just get up and go to school, at least for today and you can have the rest of the week off". He said as he sighed again and walked away.

Stay in or week off, stay in or week off, what to chose. Week off.

I got up and changed into my uniform, brushed my teeth, comb my hair a bit, grabbed my bag and that was it. I was in no mood to be fancy today.

I walk downstairs to see the table set with food out.
"I made breakfast if you want some" my father said coming out of the kitchen. I shook my head no and left.

I dreaded the walk to school, maybe I could skip.
"Lu-Chan!" Or maybe not.
"Lucy! We missed you" everyone said running towards me attacking me in a group hug.
"Me too" I said in a soft voice.
"Are you alright Lucy" Mira said as all the girls let go.
"Yea"
"You got skinner"
"New workout"
"You look tired"
"Studying late"
"Your not smiling" I shrug my shoulders at the last comment.

The girls look at each other worryingly and then back at me.
"You know you can tell us anything that's going on right Lu-Chan" levy said and all the girls started nodding in agreement.
"I wanna skip" I said bluntly and they all widened their eyes.
"Why" they all said surprised that I lucy heartfilia the girl who loves school, which I do, wants to skip. I shrug my shoulders and start walking away from school.

"Skip and you'll find out!" I said walking away. They deserve to know, if their my real friends of course.

I was two blocks away from school when I heard a bunch of footsteps coming my way. It was them, they came.
"So where to first" Cana said swinging her arm around my shoulder.
"To the park, we have some phone calls to make" I said making them all raise an eyebrow.

We arrived at the park as I told them my plan, there are only 20 minutes left until school starts and they call our parents telling them we ditched. We're going to call the school as our parents, only were going to switch parents.
Cana will call for Mira and Lisanna.
Erza will call for Levy.
Levy will call for Juvia.
Lisanna will call for Cana.
I will call for Erza.
Mira will call for me (as my aunt Anna).

The plan was a success, the teachers didn't question anything and marked us as excused.
"Now, lets go to the mall" I said pointing towards it.
"Juvia thinks we should change first"
"That's why were going to the mall, to buy clothes, my treat!" I said showing them my dads credit card. Karmas a bitch.

Time skips are manly💪💪💪💪

We wasted at least 2,000 dollars on clothes! We probably emptied out some of the stores too! After the mall we went to Macao's to eat, we were in a booth far in the corner when I decided it's time to tell them.

"You guys remember Michelle?" I said grabbing their attention.
"Yup" they all said popping the p as if they planned it.
"My dad he ummm... sent Michelle back to the orphanage a month ago" I said looking at them and watched as their eyes widened.
"The only good thing that came out of it was that... both of us now don't... well..." they all grabbed my hand encouraging me to continue.
"We don't get abused anymore" they paled. They gripped on to my hand tighter as their hair covered their eyes showing that they were mad.

They all got up and started walking away towards the bathroom except for levy and me.
"C'mon lu-Chan" she said grabbing my hand and getting up leading me to where the rest were going.

I have a bad feeling about this.
