My Troubled Angel *A Nalu Story*

Chapter 13

*Lucy's POV*
Me and Natsu walk out of the house going over to pick up his sister from the sleepover. He insisted we take his car but I wanted to walk, so we did.

It took a while but, we finally made it to Wendy's friends house. We knock on the door and a girl out she opens the door, she starts flirting with Natsu until she gets interrupted by a little girl.

"Natsu! Your here! What took you so long?" A girl with blue hair asks Natsu, must be his sister since she knew him.
"I walked, now get your stuff so we can go" Natsu said getting out of the other girls grip. We walk outside and wait for his sister since the other girl just kept on flirting with Natsu and it was getting annoying.

"Were you jealous" Natsu says in my ear wrapping his arms around my waist.
"No, I was just getting annoyed with her horrible flirting" I say crossing my arms and putting my cheeks. He chuckles and for the rest of the time we wait for his sister was spent with me criticizing the girl's horrible flirting while Natsu laughed at me.

"All done" the girl with blue hair said walking out with and backpack and a bag.
"Great let's go" Natsu said rubbing her head.
"So Natsu you gonna introduce me or what" the little girl said gesturing to me.
"Oh right, Wendy this is Lucy my girlfriend, Lucy this Wendy my little sister."
"You got a girlfriend! Finally! I was getting tired of seeing snobby girls coming and going from our house!" Natsu shot his sister a glare while I giggled at her comment. His sister just shrugged and began to walk.

"So Natsu's never had a girlfriend" I say and she turns around and nods at me. Looks like I took one of his firsts too, but why did he chose me to be his first girlfriend.

We were halfway to the house when Wendy stopped walking.
"What's wrong wen"
"Can we go to the carnival" Wendy said turning around, jumping up and down while pointing at it. Me and Natsu look, I've never been to a carnival since my dad wouldn't let me go anywhere. My mom once promised she would take me, but...well...she had to go.

"Hey Luce you ok? You look like your about to cry" I bring my finger towards my eye and can feel myself getting a bit teary.

"It's nothing" I say shrugging it off. Natsu looks at me for a moment before looking at Wendy.
"How about we drop off your stuff at the house and then we can come back, I need to bring some money anyways" Natsu says to Wendy.
"Deal, plus I think Carla wants to rest properly at home"
"That's right Natsu did tell me you have a cat named Carla, where is she"
"In the bag, it's a cat carrier" Wendy opens her bag to show a white cat wearing a dress sleeping, only to wake up and turn away from us and go back to sleep. Well she's sassy.

We make it back to the house and Wendy goes straight to her room to unpack and change, Wendy suggested I wear some different clothes that she can get for me, but before I could say something Natsu said I was fine wearing his clothes, which I was, but still a bit embarrassed.

"I'm all ready" Wendy says twirling around in a dress.
"So am I" Natsu said coming down the stairs.
"You didn't even change Natsu, your still wearing sweatpants and an all fired up t-shirt."
"You are too" He said eyeing my outfit.
"Because you didn't let me change" I remark back.
"Well it's not my fault I didn't want you wearing your usual exposing clothes" he pouts. Wendy and I giggle at him and then we all start walking towards the carnival.

Once we got there I stopped at the entrance staring in aw and remembering a few memories-
"Just how beautiful is a carnival mommy"
"Very, especially at night when the lights shine brightly. My favorite part was going on the Ferris wheel at night and being able to see the whole city and the lights."
"Wow! Can I go to one!"
"One day I'll take you, one day"
I felt tears streaming down my face as I remembered those memories and looking at the carnival. It daytime, but it'll soon be nighttime and I'll be able to see what you were talking about mom, just wish I could've done it with you.

"Hey Luce you ok"
"Hm...oh um...yea, great" I said giving Natsu a smile and he gave me his goofy grin.
"C'mon you two lovebirds let's go" Wendy said dragging us inside.

The whole time we were at the carnival we had fun. We rode many rides and Natsu almost vomited on them all, I told him not to eat to much, but he never listens. We played a few games too. There was this one stuff animal that caught my eye and Natsu noticed it. He tried to win it for me and he did... after 6 tries. It was a dog colored in white, I named it as plue.

Wendy soon meet up with her friend Romeo who was also at the carnival with his parents. After a while of convincing Natsu he finally let her enjoy the rest of the carnival with Romeo and I finally found the Ferris wheel, which was the part I was most excited for especially now that it's nighttime.

"C'mon Natsu lets go to the Ferris wheel!"
"Alright alright I'm coming" he said while I dragged him. After being in line for 5 minutes it was finally our turn.

"Alright you two are up" said the worker. I grabbed Natsu's hand and ran inside. Once the door closed and the worker checked a few things we finally started to move upwards. Natsu moved from the side he was in to next to me and put his arm around me pulling me closer to him.

"It's so beautiful" I said looking out the window.
"It really is" Natsu said looking at me. I looked at his eyes making eye contact. We stayed like that for a while. No talking just us two looking into each other's eyes piercing into each other sole. Until one of us started leaning in touching the others.

This kiss was different, it was soft and passionate, it felt as if with this one kiss you can tell the other everything you want to. It's a never leave me behind kiss, I love you kiss. Our lips were in sync. There no tongue, just out lips. I felt Natsu lift me up and place me on his lap while I just moved my arms around his neck.

We soon parted, but no one moved we just looked at each other as if we were ready to kiss each other once again. I soon felt a light shine on us brightly, I looked away from Natsu to find us at the very top. I didn't want to move away from Natsu to I just laid my head on his chest and looked at the city. 'It's just like she said' I thought while a smile appeared on my face.

"Thank you"
"For what Luce" Natsu said looking down at me with a questionable look.
"For bringing me here"
"Anytime Luce, anytime"
