Swaddling the baby I held him close. Dawn looked over at him with a scrunched face, "I thought it would a girl" I laughed sitting back in the hospital bed. "Your father couldn't handle another girl" I said. "He acts like there isn't enough of us" Dawn crawldd off the bed, "When will sissy come?" "Uno momento?" I Smiled. She fused. Dawn was a perfect copy of Damian and it made me all the more obeseed with her. She was feisty and no where what the daughter Damian thought I would raise. Though only five she had opinion about everything and I loved that more than anything. Stroking my baby boys hair, I smiled I had missed the smell of new born after Dawn. Damian had said he didn't want another daughter as Daphne was seventeen and was still recovering from her new wave of emotions. He soon settled and we tried once more and now have three children. All healthy with 10 toes and 10 fingers. I smiled st the memory of how far we had come how are lust hard turn to love and how we raised a family. "Tell me she is not name Dawson" said Daphne bursting in. I laughed smiling at my own best friend. "He" I corrected. Her eyes popped and she rushed over dropping her backpack. She peered with big round eyes at her new baby brother, "You broke the curse". I laughed, "Where is your Dad?" I asked as she lifted Dawn who also clung to Daphne. Daphne was the glue to our family. During the wedding she had been the flower girl and maid of honor. She gave two speechs and elected to go to the grandma for the honeymoon. We took her on the baby moon though, it was pushing her in big intertubes in canyon. She had been so obsessed with my belly until Dawn was born. She then followed her around until Dawn was old enough to start following her around the inseparable pair. Though 12 years her senior, Dawn wanted to do everything Daphne did. Daphne lived to be a good older sister in all she did and it showed, "Don't tell me you are also not interested in a brother" Daphne shrugged and we laughed. "I'm kidding, mom" my heart still fluttered hearing her say it. She said it as soon as Dawn said Dada first. She said she didn't want Dawn to get to take it from her."Dad is getting your discharge paperwork though". "You need a new uniform for next year" I said looking at her uniform. She nodded, "Dad, said the same thing" standing she put Dawn down and washed her hands. "Forget it you can't hold him" I said pulling him closer. "Yeah forget it, mom hasn't hailed me all day. Geez, how did mom hold us both" Damian came in laughing. "Daddy" jumped Dawn into her father's arms complete daddy's girl. I smiled as Damian loved her all over kissing and tickling till she was squealing to be put down. "Wake up the baby please" I said. "Yes, Mrs. Avella" he leaned in kissing me. "Damian" I blush. He grinned, sitting back beside me he pulled Daphne close. There was a collective sigh. "I like big family hugs" Dawn cheered. "You do? Should mommy have another baby?" I asked. "No" answered Dawn and Damian. I looked at Daphne who only smiled, "I love being apart of a big family" for a second she reverted back to the twelve year old little girl on my door step hating me. How had this bond become so strong and solid? How had any of this happen? Oh yeah, my dad wanted to get married.
