Trapped within my prison,
Encased by my bars.
Restricting my every heart beat,
Stealing my entire identity.
Surrounded by criminals-
With no one to tell their stories,
Forgotten or judged by the "norms" of society.
Set loose from my prison,
Chained by my past.
Speaking out for the voiceless-
Yet nobody cares to listen...
Submerging all my pain,
Hiding all my flaws.
Trapped within my prison-
Is there even a way out?
