"Let's go Availability, let's go Availability! Let's go Avail! Avail! Availability!"

The screams and shouts of my classmates were so heard because of their loud voices. The boys dominated the cheer and I was refraining myself not to cover my ears because of the high pitches and the voices of my girl classmates. 

They were wild! But a good kind of wild though.

We walked around the the near village of the school for the parade as the starting event. Every high school students up to the senior high school students were dressed with their own design of jerseys and some ginormous props. There are banners, tarpaulins, balloons and some are large posters which the names of the sections were indicated.

Pagkatapos ng parade is a 30-minute ceremony of National Anthem and such. And then following the torch-lighting as a sign of the first day of intramurals. After that all the students that will play sports for the whole week was asked to deliver an oath-taking. Pagkatapos non, bumalik na kami sa kanya-kanya naming mga classroom.

4pm na nung natapos yung ceremony at nagmamadali na ako dahil baka iwan ako ng service. Mahirap na at hindi ako pwedeng magpahuli dahil wala namang susundo sakin. Both my parents are busy with their works. Lalo na at ber months na.

"Els, naiwanan na daw tayo nila Kuya." bungad saakin ni Shy when I was about to storm out of our classroom. Hindi ako makapaniwala. 

Grabe kung hindi laging nahuhuli sila kuyang service, sila naman ang nang-iiwan. I presume na kailangan ko na talagang magpaalam kayla Mommy na payagan na akong magcommute.

"Bakit daw?" I can't hide the irritation in my voice. 

Sayang yung binabayad namin noh!

"Akala daw kasi nila may mga magsusundo sa atin eh. Gabi na kasi." Shy nonchalantly declaired. Di ko mapigilan ang pag-irap sa kawalan. Ugh I'm pissed!

Thank God I have some emergency money kept in my wallet in case some shit like this will happened unpredictably. Mukhang magcocommute na naman ako without my parents' knowing. Excuse me, di ko po talaga masyadong ginagawa toh. 

Only if I don't have a choice. Pasalamat sila kuya di ko pa sila sinusumbong!

Shy already left me since may pupuntahan pa daw sila ng Kuya niya. Meanwhile I was here with Issa and Tati na naglalakad sa village malapit sa school. May shortcut kase dito ng mga ilang kilometer. 

At least makakatipid ako kase if dun ako sumakay sa mismong waiting shed sa labas ng school namin ay kailangan ko pang magbayad ng pamasahe.

"Kel!" sigaw ni Tati dahil medyo nasa harapan na namin sila Kel pati yung iba niya pang mga kaibigan. I stayed with Issa at nag-usap nalang ng kung ano ano. Tati hooked her arms on Kel shoulder at doon sumabay.

Malamang besties eh.

"Issa di muna ako sasabay ah, makikitambay lang ako kayla Kel sa Nanay Nitz. Hatid mo ng safe si Els ha! Hantayin mo muna makasakay bago ka umuwi ha?" Tati informed at lumapit muna sakin before hugging me tightly.
