*Amira's POV*

"And in the final round, the Buzzard-Wasps won with a decisive knockout. What do you say we go to the arena tonight, catch a few pro bending matches?" Korra was reading the pro bending match results from the morning paper.

"That sport is a mockery of the noble tradition of bending." Tenzin said.

"Come on, Tenzin, I've dreamed about seeing a pro bending match since I was a kid, and now I'm just a ferry ride away from the arena."

"Korra, you're not here to watch that drivel. You're here to finish your avatar training. So for the time being, I want you to remain on the island."

"Is that why you're keeping the White Lotus sentries around to watch my every move?"

"Yes, in order to learn airbending, I believe you require a calm, quiet environment, free from any distractions."

"All right, you're the master."

I clear my throat. "Can I go into the city? It'd be nice to see the city that Grandfather created with Avatar Aang."

"Of course, you're free to go to the city, Amira. Just be back in time for dinner."

"Traitor." Korra playfully glared at me. "I wanted to explore the city too."

"I know, Korra. But I'm not the one who needs airbending training."

"Fine. But you better tell me what it was like when you get back."

"Deal."

The ferry comes to a stop snapping me out of my thoughts. First stop, the Pro Bending arena. Ever since Korra got me hooked on the sport I've been wanting to come. I now have the perfect opportunity. I look around trying to see if I can spot it. But to no luck. Maybe this man can help me.

"Sir, can you tell me how to get to the Pro Bending arena?"

"Just go straight down this street and make a right. You can't miss it." He told me as he pointed down the street we were on before walking away.

"Thank you!" I yelled after him.

Once I got there I opened the doors to be greeted by a ticket booth. There was no one there at the moment so I left a few yuans that should cover the price of one ticket. There were several other doors, so might as well see what they lead to. Opening the one closest to me I'm greeted with an arena. It was surrounded by water and there was many benches in the stands all around.

"Wow. This is amazing." I said to myself. There are three options of where to go now: go left, go right, or go up. Let's go right. I found the training rooms.

"Huh, wonder if I can practice here?" I must have really been deep in thought because next thing I know there's a loud voice behind me.

"I knew I heard someone!"

Turning I was meet with eyes the same color as mine. Yet they held so much passion and power. They reminded me of Grandfather Zuko's eyes.
