The air inside the room was stale and gloomy, with a soft quietness to it that seemed to make things worse for Victoria as she-breathed through toothpicks.
The sound of growling and churning from her belly made sleeping hard and impossible to attain. The softest of groans escaped her lips; she laid wrapped in layers of blankets, wearing a dark grey oversized sweater she could only presume to be Corey's from the distinct mint scent wafting into her nostrils calming her as though he was in the room with her.
Another groan escaped her lips as her abdomen folded then released itself making it hard to breathe as she felt repulsed, she tried standing up into a sitting position but couldn't seem to be able to move a muscle. She laid flat on her belly, with her fingernails biting unto the crease of her palm.
"Mmmmm," her face churns into a frown as she held the blanket for support. Crowning her muscles as she attempted to pull herself up by folding the blanket into the crease of her palm hoping her now shivering hands would support her up.
The pain at her lower abdomen felt similar to that of being injected with a bazillion chopping sticks at a time. Another wave rampaged through the middle of her legs, walking slowly to the tip of her spine before resting and settling at her lower back closer to her bum.
"Jersey, Dam, Corey." She conjured the only people her head could deter hoping one of them could hear her voice, she held her belly once more. "Jersey!" He was the one with the closest bond to her apart from her mate and the only one that could possibly be close enough to her.
The door suddenly burst open as she felt the figure lean against the bed holding her arm. "Victoria wake up," she felt Jersey shake her body as her face lay pressed to the bed.
"My back," she cried barely hearing her own voice, as her breathing became uneven with tears blinding her eyes.
"What's wrong with your back?" Jersey turned her on her back, now staring at her pain-stricken face. "Should I tell Corey or Dam?" He asked concerned, as Victoria now laid on the bed with her hands above her eyes and tears streaming down the base of her jaws. "Hey," he slowly lifted up the blanket propping her up into a sitting position as he hugged her to him. "Tell me what's wrong with your back?" He rubbed her back, looking straight down at the blanket a sudden red pigment on their white blanket caught his interest.
"I think it's getting better,"
"Victoria can you stand for a second," he moved away from her front, pulling her up by her hand before reaching down to move the blanket away from where she was once sitting. "Victoria!?" He called but her eyes were already set on it.
She quickly grabbed the blanket away from his hand with enough force to cut it into two, "you should leave," she said avoiding his gaze as embarrassment flushed through her, much so that she felt her face heat up under his worried gaze.
"That's a lot of blood Victoria," he stated with so much fear in his voice as his tall and lean figure took the blanket from her.
"Just don't tell Corey or Dam," she said jumping on the bed with more force than necessary so she could get the sheets off with hopes that it hadn't stained the bed underneath because she could already picture the horrified look on Dam's face when he finds out she stained his favorite white and green stripes sheet with her period blood. Like seriously, she was so going to get it from him.
