Chapter 34: Sanctuary

Elena and Kol were in Lafayette cemetey she woke up and she was laying on a couch.

"Where the hell am" Elena asked

"My play house it's time to teach you magic" Kol said.

"Ok whats the first step" Elena got up and took a seat next to him.

"Elena concentrate if you don't concentrate and trust yourself then your magic will go haywire and since you only were pregnant with Angel but your alson a doppelganger so you already magical properties" Kol said.

"Ok" Elena said. She was scared but she knew that she was going to have to learn otherwise things were going to go bad."Lets get started."

"Were going to start simple a candle" He pulled out a candle. "Light it. concentrate it's easy all you have to do is let the magic go through you"

She tried to focus and light it but it didn't take"Easier said then done someone was born with magic"

"What's on your mind there's something blocking you from focusing" Kol said.

"I'm worried Finn said i'd become unpredictable that i would destroy everything if i can't handle touching the original hybrid without making him fall how am i going to hold my own daughter without hurting her" Elena said.

"Elena once you get control you can choose when you take energy or magic from someone you'll be as strong as the harvest girls combined" Kol said,

"Thats not helping" Elena aid.

"Let me put this in better terms once you get control of your magic you will be able to protect her from anything you will never hurt her you could go up against my mother at her strongest and prevail you'll be unstoppable" Kol said.

"Ok lets try again" Elena smiled. She'd do anything to make sure that no one hurt her daughter.

"Concentrate let the magic flow through you" Kol said.Elena closed her eyes. And focused. She put her hand in a fist above the candle she let the magic course through her. She opened her hand slowly."Darling open your eyes and look around."

She looked around and seen that all the candles were lit" Wow"

"You did it see its not that hard now lets try a few other simple spells" Kol said.

Elena and Kol had tried a few other spells. They had been practicing for a few hours.

"Now lets try to get you to not siphon" Kol said.

"No i rather go back to simple spells" Elena said.

"Focus touch my arm and don't draw magic or energy" Kol said.

Elena nodded and did as told. She tried but she could see it wasn't working she pulled her hand back."Are you ok."

"I'm fine come on" Kol said.

She tried to focus and not take any magic but it wasn't working. She pulled her hands away and shook her head."It's not working."

Davina walked in with Adien. Kol shook his head."You do know the point of a secret lair right"

"Kol shut up" Elena said"What's wrong"

"Marcel Josh and all his vampires are missing" Davina said.

"I'm in the loop anymore even if Klaus knew where they are i don't know where any of them are i've been awol" Elena said.

"I figured you didn't know but i had to try so i have another idea. We need to do a locator spell." Davina said/

"Elena do you want to try to do this its an eaiser spell" Kol said. She knew that she needed some real practice.
