Not His Real Name

Jasmine's Pov:

Today is the day of the divorce signing and I was so nervous. I was scared that Danneel might try some trick on Jensen. Or I could get a knock on my door and I see one of her goons kidnapping me.  Or maybe he could fall back in love with her and then leave me to the curb. "Snap out of it!" I say to myself. I'm sitting at my house, waiting to get a call from Jensen to say that he's on his way over. I just hope everything will be okay.

Jensen's Pov:

I am on my way to my divorce signing. I just want this to be over so I can see Jasmine. So I can be with her and show my love to her. Once this is over and I discuss what Jasmine and I talked about to Danneel, I'm gonna call her.

I arrive at the place that the signing is gonna take place and head inside. I go to the front desk, get the information, and head towards the elevator. I enter the elevator and press the specific floor I need to go to. I wait for a second and then the doors started to close until a hand was able to get through and stop the doors. They opened back up and Danneel walked in. She saw me and sighed in what seemed like a disappointment. The doors finally closed and we both stood next to each other in silence. It was gonna be a while before we got to the floor, so I thought I could tell her here. It was silent at first, but then I finally spoke.

Me: "Danneel, we need to talk."

Danneel: "Yeah we do."

Me: "Really?"

Danneel: "Yes. I have some things I need to say."

After she said that, the elevator doors opened and we both walked out. We saw our individual lawyers and the mediator waiting on both of us. They all stand up and start heading towards a room and we follow them. As soon as the doors were closed the meeting began.

*45 minutes later*

The meeting ended and as soon as the judge gets the papers and signs them, I'll officially be divorced. Everyone left except Danneel and me. We sat at the table in silence and then she started up the conversation.

Danneel: "Jensen?"

Me: "Yes."

Danneel: "What did you want to say?"

Me: "Oh. Umm...look. I'm letting you know that Jasmine and I are now together. Even though we've had a rough few weeks with everything that has been going on involving her, we just want to make peace with you. We just want to put all of this unnecessary drama behind us."

Danneel sighed and then nodded in agreement.

Danneel: "You're right. Jensen, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for how I treated you and Jasmine. From what I could see, you guys belong together. I've finally accepted that I need to move on. I just wish I didn't interfere to begin with."

"That's shocking..."

Me: "It's okay. Now that this divorce is over, we can accept peace and be happy."

Danneel: "I'd like that. In fact, I'm actually happy now. I've found someone."

Me: "Really?!?! That's great! Jasmine and I were gonna help you find someone actually."

Danneel: "Well, now you don't have to."

Me: "I'm happy for you."

Danneel: "Thank you."

We both stood up and headed towards the door. We left the room and waited in the elevator. The doors opened and we both stepped in. We stood next to each other as the doors closed and started to go down.
