We Have Each Other

Jensen's Pov:

Jasmine: "It's...not over...they're after us."

Me: "What do you mean?"

Small whimpers were coming out of her as more tears came streaming down her face.

Jasmine: "We need to go inside...they can probably still hear us."

Me: "Okay."

We slowly got up and walked towards her door. I wrapped my arms around her, trying to comfort her as much as I could. We enter her house and we walk into the living room. We sit down on the couch and I face her as she is facing down at the cushion. I lift her head up and I see that her eyes are filled with fear.

Me: "Baby...what happened?"

She was silent for a while, but she then began to speak.

Jasmine: "After we did...what we did..."

I looked down and smirked at her words. I looked back up and I saw a little smile.

Jasmine: "And when you left to go blow out the candles, I got a threat message from an unknown number. Then when you came back, I didn't think I could tell you yet. So I moved on. But then when you went to get food, I checked my phone again. It was another message from the same number."

She grabbed her phone from her pocket, unlocked it, and handed it to me. I read the messages and my heart sank.

Jasmine: "After I saw that, I was freaking out. I was gonna tell you when you got back here, but I needed to calm down before I saw you. So I went to my closet to come up with ideas for outfits and then I saw a bugging system on the beige jacket that I wore to Danneel's."

Me: "Damn it." I say as I look down.

Jasmine: "I must've gotten it when she hugged me."

Me: "That would explain the messages.............SON OF A BITCH!!!!!" I say as I yell out.

I get off the couch and put my hands over my face. I look back at Jasmine and more tears are coming out of her eyes. I walk back to her, sit on the couch and wipe the tears away.

Jasmine: "I need to go...Jensen, you're not safe...I'm not safe...I-...I just can't."

Me: "NO! No, Jasmine. I'm not-...I'm not losing you again. I don't want to lose you again."

After I said that, it was quiet for a while.

Me: "Someone once told me that I need to fight for and with the person I love. I need to stand by the person that means so much to me. Jasmine...I want to protect you from all of this. I want to love you to a point where all of this drama can just go away and it's just you and me alone. Jasmine, forget them. I don't care about what obstacles we need to go through and I don't care about how long it takes. As long as I'm by your side,...I will always be here. Because I love you."

Jasmine: "I love you too."

She leaned in for a kiss and I gave in. Her kiss to me was so romantic and sweet. It made me want to keep her in my arms forever. We pulled away and I just stared into her eyes. Her beautiful eyes.

Jasmine: "So,...what do we do?"

Me: "We need to leave this house for a while. We don't know what else they could've possibly bugged in here."

She looked down but then nodded in agreement.

Jasmine: "Okay."

Me: "Okay, go pack for a few nights. I know where we can go."
