Guess Who's Back?

A few hours later we landed.

Once we got off the ship Hisoka was already waiting for us.

"How did you get here so fast?!" I asked skipping over to him.

"A magician never reveals his secrets~" Hisoka scolded me playfully.

"Let's go we're wasting time." Illumi walked past us both. We followed suit.

"So Illumi where is he now?" Hisoka asked curiously.

"He's in Gamabunta looking for a chocolate robot." Illumi answered walking out of the airport.

"Isn't that the small village in the middle of that forest that worships frogs?" I asked recognizing the name.

"Actually it's toads~" Hisoka corrected me.

I looked at him confused. "What's the difference?"

Hisoka thought for a moment. "I don't actually know."

"Get in the car" Illumi opened the door to a taxi for us to get into. "To the train station." The taxi driver nodded and we drove off.

We all sat down in a booth on the train. I sat next to Hisoka with Illumi on the other side of the booth.

"Y/n do you want to play a card game?" Hisoka asked smiling.

"Sure! I'm the best at go fish!" I really only knew how to play three card games.

Hisoka dealt the cards and the game was a foot. "You go first~" I nodded and organized my hand. Hisoka placed down a match he had.

"Do you have any nines?" Hisoka shook his head and handed me his card. I placed down my match and we continued the game.

"My turn~ do you have any fours?" He winked at me expecting me to actually have a four.

"Go fish!" He sighed and drew a card. "You have any queens?" I smiled wanting to win.

"Only you my dear~" he leaned closer patting my head. "Go fish."

I huffed and drew a card. It was a joker. "Are we playing with jokers?" I asked confused as to why it was still in the deck.

"No, I guess I forgot to remove one. Just discard it and draw a new card." Hisoka laughed and I drew a new card. A Queen. I set down the match with a triumphant look on my face.

"Do you have any aces?" I looked down at my cards. One ace.

"Aces are my favorite cards you meanie." I handed him my ace which he gladly took.

"Have any threes?" I asked with a glint of hope in my eyes.

"Come and take it~" Hisoka held up a three. I reached for it but he moved it away. After a while of me trying to get the card I was on top of him reaching for it.

"Give me the card!" I shouted reaching my arms as far as I could.

We were making a scene and all the other booths were watching us with a look of disappointment.

"Would you two stop messing around?" Illumi looked at us.

With one final attempt out of embarrassment I jumped and grabbed the card. "I got it!" I flaunted it around proudly still on top of Hisoka.

"I win." I stared Hisoka dead in the eyes. He licked his lips and I immediately retreated. "Your turn." I looked away now sitting back in my seat.

We continued the game normally after that. I won a round. He won five.
