Hisoka My Choice

"Choose? What do you mean choose?" I questioned confusion evident on my face.

"We can't all stay together anymore, we all have lives and responsibilities. It was fun running around together but we can't all do it anymore. You have to choose who you're going to stay with." Illumi explained the situation.

"Keep in mind the one you choose, you choose as more then a friend~ this is the decision that will decide the emotions you have." Hisoka leaned down to whisper into my ear. "Come with me darling~"

I didn't know what to do, how could I choose? This was bigger than just me. I hadn't even really thought about having feelings of more than just friends with either of them. Looking up my eyes locked with Hisoka's, all the conversations and mini adventures we've had together came to mind. But how could I just leave Illumi high and dry?

"There will be no hard feelings no matter who you choose." The way Illumi said those words was as if he already knew the answer to the question, as if he knew who I was going to choose without words. It was as if he already knew it wasn't him.

"Illumi." My voice was soft as I addressed him.

"I understand." He silenced me as he took my hand. "I wish you the best. It was fun." And with that he let go of me, turning he walked back into the dining room leaving me standing with Hisoka.

"Shall we then~" He took my hand taking a step closer to the front door.

Taking a moment to process I looked at Hisoka tightening my hand around his. "Let's get the hell out of here." Walking through the door I had a grin on my face, I was walking away from my past, my trauma, away from everything holding me back. I was going to become stronger with my decision. I was free to do as I pleased, to do what I want for once.

"I have an old "friend" to meet up with, I'm going to fight him and then after that we can do whatever you you would like~" He smirked over at me triumphantly.

I stopped suddenly and pulled him in, locking my lips with his. "I would like to have my own little adventure just with you. Then after that let's see Illumi again."

"Your wish is my command love~ We'll be unstoppable together. We'll burn the world if that's what you'd like."

I have finally done it, I have finished this damn story.

The end chapters will be a bit shorter than normal chapters because they're more of a continuation/part 2 to The Beginning Of The End and I really don't have enough care or motivation to write a whole 1000 word chapter.

I hope this ending was satisfactory to you all and I want to apologize for how long it took me to write this. I fell out of the Hunter x Hunter fandom a long time ago, I also no longer simp for Hisoka (I still love Illumi though). Even when I fell out of the fandom I still had every intention of finishing this book, I just got really busy with life. I don't feel the need to explain or justify what exactly has been going on but it's been a lot. Also with the more time I spent away from this story the more my hatred grew for it, I hated that I couldn't just get it done, I hated that it wasn't as good as my other fics but still managed to be more popular than some of the ones I worked the hardest on. I wanted to just delete it and move on. But really I hated who I was when I was writing this story, I hated the people who were my 'friends' and influencing my personality to be what they wanted instead of who I really am.

Anyway I'll stop blabbering on and let you all get on with your lives.
