Camila's POV
We reach a little closer to the shore to then the boat completely stopping. I strip off my shirt feeling warm arms slip around my waist.
"That was a great scene," Lauren whispers in my ear.
"Glad you enjoyed it," I giggle.
Lauren kisses my cheek looking out into the ocean. "You know I almost forgot everything that happened..." She whispers.
"You did huh?" I mumble.
"I pushed myself just to get you out. Nothing else was on my mind than just freeing you and having you in my arms once more," Lauren confesses.
"Oh really?" I tease.
"Shut up," She laughs muffling it by hiding her face in my shoulder.
I turn in her arms mine flying up to wrap around her neck. "I knew you could do it. You made a promise and you kept. I never doubted even once," I confess.
"Really?" Her eyes brighten.
I nod rapidly in agreement connecting our lips. Once breathing was a problem we pulled away my bottom lip trapped in between her lips. I keep our foreheads glued as all I could focus on was her and hear her heavy breathing. "Come on let's take a dive into the water," I whisper.
"All right," She smiles. Lauren pulls away from and disappears to change in the restroom.
Dinah comes up to me and hands me a glass of scotch. "Y'all two look serious," She smiles.
I didn't answer but just smiled brightly. "She told me to marry her..." I whispered.
"Woah! Really?" She laughs.
"Yeah..." I look her dead in the eye and reach inside the front pocket of my denim shorts. I pull out the ring, the stones shining under the sunlight. "It wasn't official but I tend to make it," I smile.
She carefully takes the ring and smiles brightly. "Never thought I'll see the day," Dinah laughs.
"Me neither..." I mumble.
"You gonna tell her?" Dinah arches an eyebrow.
I nod knowing exactly what she means, "Yeah, tonight. I talked to Louis, he has a private little cottage with such a beautiful, romantic view. I already have everything planned," I explain.
"Oh my God, you're such a cliche," Dinah playfully shoves me.
"It's definitely not my thing Dinah. But Lauren loves that sort of thing all though she doesn't want to admit it, I know she loves cliche and with her, I don't care," I explain.
"Awwww. This is so bringing down your badass gang leader aura to me," She teases.
Lauren finally comes back into my view and I put down my now empty glass. "Wow... You look..." I eye her body up and down.
"You're going to catch a fly," Lauren giggles.
A bright smile forms on my lips and I reach out to take both of her hands in mine. "Ready to take a dive?" I swing our hands.
"Definitely."
We walk over to the other end of the boat to see our friends splashing in the water. Louis tackles Niall into the water while Ally and Normani sip on martinis. I jump into the water and surface. Lauren sits down next to Normani and I take her hand on my own. "You coming in?" I smile.
"Convince me," Lauren sticks her tongue out.
"How about a romantic night out?" I grin.
"Awwwww!" Ally and Normani coo next to Lauren.
"Agreeable," Lauren smiles and jumps in the water. She picks me up and spins us around.
I grin and when she puts me down I connect our lips in a sweet kiss. Lauren starts tickling me and I fall in the water. She dips below the water with me and I connect our lips once more. We resurface and I wrap my legs around her waist.
Everybody splashes water at us whistling. I laugh throwing my head back then connect my forehead with hers.
"I got some champagne!!" Dinah cheers coming over with a tray.
We all take a glass and clink them together. I take a drink and press a kiss on Lauren's lips after she takes a sip herself. Lauren puts our glasses down and Dinah hops in the water.
"Yeahhhh partayyyy!" She cheers.
Soon we are all splashing, laughing, and drinking in the water having the time of our lives.
