It was a quiet ride to the office. I don't know if I should engage him in a conversation or if I should just be quiet. I was still contemplating when he started to speak, "Okay, are we going to address our current situation or are we just going to ignore it?"
I was taken aback because I never thought that he would be the first one to break the silence. "Uh, well," I started.
"I mean, we would be working closely together, so I was thinking, if we could start over."
"I agree. It would be nice to not have any awkward feelings toward each other. Because aside from working together, we would also be staying at the same apartment, so, yeah, I think that's a good idea." I finally replied, we were about to enter the parking lot of the office, so it was best that we get on with being nice to each other before we step foot inside the office grounds.
"Great, so you can start in apologizing to me to what happened in Daegu, to which I will forgive you and from there, we can all be good."
"Excuse me? What did you just say? Are you being serious right now? Please tell me you're joking." I said stomping on the brakes.
"Why would I joke about it? I mean, I came here to work, I don't normally care about what happens around me, but given the situation that we have, it would be ideal to let it all out, let it be smoothed out." He said shrugging his shoulders.
"I can't believe this." I muttered, getting out of the car and stomping towards the office lobby. I turned back to him and said, "The nerve of you to ask me to apologize to you when in fact it was you who should be apologizing to me." I started to walk again towards the office when I looked back at him. "You know what? You are such a conceited guy." I turned around and left him there in the parking lot.
He starts to follow me and since he's much taller than me, he was able to catch up with me, "What's the matter with you? I thought that you wanted to work harmoniously?" He said, asking me those ridiculous questions.
"If you think that I would just give in to the outrageous things that you just said, don't hold your breath." I stop walking, "No, wait, it's actually better if you hold your breath, that way things would be easier for me. It would mean that I don't have to deal with you any longer."
"You are not being reasonable. How do you think we would be able to work properly if you'll be stubborn?" He said to me while following me to the lobby. The few staff that was near us were already staring at us and it was hard to deny that we were having some sort of argument.
We reached the elevator doors and I stopped myself from talking to him again, better to keep other people from knowing what we were arguing about. We got in, stood at opposite ends and stared at the door. He was about to say something when the elevator doors open at our floor, I walked out and headed to Bang's office.
He was still following me and I thought that he would stop once he sees me entering Bang's. Without knocking, I headed in. "Bang, we need to talk. This is important and it needs to be addressed right away." I said as soon as I saw him. Yoongi also followed in and said, "Good morning sir, you must be the CEO of this company? I am Min Yoongi."
Bang-Bang stood up and motioned for Mr. Conceited of the Year to come forward and extended his hand, "It's nice to finally meet you. We've been waiting for you and we are all excited to have you here in our company."
"I'm not. I am not excited at all. In fact, I detest it. I am protesting regarding this." I said while moving forward, Bang looks at me, alarmed at what I just said. His eyes getting bigger and looked at me questioningly.
"What she means to say sir is that we are still working on our differences but nevertheless, we would make everything work harmoniously." Yoongi said partially covering my way. "And I promise you that we would compromise and not let anything hinder us from doing the best that we can." He finished off.
