When I finally got home I immediately went up to my room to get ready for the coaches dinner. George and Kiara weren't home, thank god. I didn't wanna have to worry about acting weird in front of them and having to explain myself.
It was crucial to make sure that Jimmy didn't find out about Shanahan possibly deciding to trade him after this season.
Jimmy knowing about the whole situation wouldn't benefit him or anyone involved in any way. Especially since nothing has even been decided officially yet.
As I continued trying to convince myself that lying to Jimmy was the best thing for him, I began getting myself ready for the dinner tonight.
The outfit I picked out for tonight was a completely metallic gold color. The top included a blazer and a tube top underneath. It exposed my chest and my belly, but my goods were completely covered.
The bottoms were a fit and flare style dress pant, they fit my curves perfectly. I paired my outfit with gold heels, and a few pieces of jewlery to add a little something extra. I kept my makeup light and simple, and my hair down and straight.
As I finished getting ready I couldn't help but feel sick at the thought of lying to Jimmy. His career meant a lot to him, and I knew he wouldn't forgive me for lying to him. I also knew that I really didn't have much of a choice either.
I sighed deeply, letting out all my anxiety. I stepped in front of the body mirror hanging on the wall to inspect my final look.
I looked amazing, and I felt even better, It felt good to feel good especially after today. I smiled happily at my reflection before I faintly heard a knock coming from the front door.
"Shit." I mumbled to myself as I scurried out of my room. "You can do this Camila, just act natural. Act natural." I repeated to myself as I ran down the stairs in my heels. "Coming!" I shouted as I ran over to the front door.
I took a deep breath, closed my eyes, and opened the front door. I smiled sweetly at the sight of Jimmy, our eyes immediately glued to each other.
Jimmy had on a navy blue suit with a crisp white blouse underneath. He looked incredibly handsome, my heart was racing as I took in every inch of his body in that suit.
"Wow, that outfit is uh.. you look gorgeous." Jimmy stuttered with a wide smile as his eyes continued wandering up and down my body.
I chuckled at his reaction to me before I spoke.
"Well thank you, you look pretty good yourself Jimmy G." I stated with a playful smile.
Jimmy stuffed his hands in his pants pockets as he chuckled and smiled widely at me.
"Thanks baby." Jimmy said quickly with a sweet smile.
"Come in, I have to grab a few things before we head out." I stated with a smile as I gestured for Jimmy to enter my home.
