It was only 5:29 in the afternoon, and yet the sun had already begin to set. I was starting to think that I should visit here more often. This part of Miyagi felt absolutely different from the bustling streets of Tokyo.

My eyes drifted towards the tall mountains in front of me, where the sun was hiding. The small crystalline lake had been freed of the icy grasp of winter, imitating the fiery colors displayed on the vast sky. The red orb of light slowly began to sink beneath the horizon, with a few streaks of light lingering on the sky, painting it first with orange, then red, then a soft pink.

I slowed down my pace, my long strides turning into small strolls. Brushing my shoes with the grass, with every step I take. The sky then turned into a pale purple, signaling twilight. Not long after, speckles of light started to appear on the night sky, one after another. The sea of green swayed together with the silent wind, forcing out a swarm of fireflies that danced together with the stars.

Suddenly, I couldn't feel the soil sink into my shoes anymore. My eyes landed on the small little house in front of me.

A series of faint shuffles, broke the silence of the the night. I quickly turned my head towards the direction of the sound, holding my arms up in defense. "(F/n), sweetie! You're finally here. I was worried you might've gotten lost." I put put my arms back down, after seeing it was my nimble grandmother.

Before I could say anything, she grabbed me by the arm and jogged towards the small house. "Your visitors are waiting for you~" She cooed. 'I swear she only said I have one visitor.'

"You didn't tell me you knew such handsome young men~" I sweatdrop at my grandmother's statement.

"I thought you only said I had one visitor?"

"Oh, the two of them only showed up a few minutes ago." 'Two of them?'

"You still remember Kita-san right?" She asks.

"Kita?! He's my visitor?!"

"Oh, yes. He said that--" I could't wait any longer. I sprinted off and into the small house, leaving my grandmother shocked. It's been too long, I thought i'd never see him again.

"Shin-ta?!" I quickly scan the room, my eyes landing on the gray-haired boy, sitting down on the floor. He looked surprised for a second, before smiling. I wrap my arms around him tightly, burying my head in his chest. I could feel his palm rest on my head, ruffling my hair.

"Why are you crying?" He asks. I shake my head before wiping a few tears.

"I just thought i'd never see you again.."

"Is she your girlfriend Kita-san?"

"No."
