"Kenma?" My voice echoed in the dimly lit hallway.
"Kenma-" A jolt of pain cut me off as I tried to walk on my right foot. I lean on the wall beside me for some support before getting back up again. I should've asked where the boys room is..
I continue my search for Kenma, opening every door I came across with. Everyone else was still downstairs eating, so the chances of me barging in into someone was pretty low. It was eerily quiet, the only noise coming from downstairs and the occasional tapping of my foot. The air was sharp and thin for some reason, sending a shiver down my spine. My current situation reminded me of a few scenes from movies.
The girl walks through the thick forest all alone, seeking shelter away from its predator. Then suddenly she gets snatched away, and a piercing scream distubs the tranquil night.
A shiver ran down my spine again, as I sensed a pair of eyes watching me. I check my surroundings but, saw no one.
"Kenma-- Mphhm!" Everything suddenly went black as I felt something over my eyes as well as my mouth. My mind raced to the worst case scenario. Is someone else in here? How did they get in? How could nobody notice? Is this where I disappear? What should I do?!
My body tumbled backwards, as I felt the person tug on my shirt, pulling me in towards who knows where. I tried to pry off both hands that restricted me, but failed, resluting for the person to tighten their grip on me.
It was getting harder to breathe, I was starting to panic. I flail my arms around trying to get a hold of something, anything. My hands came in contact with a solid surface, and immediately grabbed on to it, completely forgeting about my right arm. Then, an idea popped in to my mind.
I bit the hand over my mouth, and received a high pitched scream coming from behind me. Wait.. High pitched?
The weight over my eyes vanished, allowing me to scan the environment I was in. As soon as I was able to adjust to the light, I caught a glimpse of yellow.
"(L-L/N)-SAN!? Are you okay?!" I lower my line of sight and saw a pair of brown eyes filled concern.
"H-Hitoka-chan? Eri-chan?"
"Gomene, (L/n)-chan. We just can't risk any of the boys crash here again. Last time, Bokuto-san wouldn't leave us alone." Yukie-san steps out from behind me and waves in my direction. I could notice a few marks on the palm of her hands.
"D-Did I do that?" I point at her hands guiltily.
"Oh, yes. Don't worry it doesn't hurt anymore. I understand that you were scared, anyone would be scared if they suddenly get yanked into a room." I sigh in relief and apologized one last time.
A knock was heard, silencing all of us.
"(L/n)-san, are you okay?" Kageyama-kun? I look towards Yukie-san, who shook her head. He knocked again, a bit louder this time.
"(L/n)-san?"
"U-Uh, yes! I'm all right."
"I heard you calling out for Kenma-san, then you suddenly got pulled into a room."
"I was just.. Looking for something! Yeah, that's it.." I mentally facepalm. Is that the best you can come up with (F/n)? Really?
"Oh. I hope you found what you're looking for then. Kenma-san is in the room, um.." He paused for a second, mumbling a few words to himself. "Four rooms from here."
"Thank you Kageyama-kun. Have a good night." I say, knocking on the door, just to assure him I was fine. He knocked back.
"Goodnight (L/n)-san." He replies. I could hear him walk away, his footsteps becoming more inaudible by the second. I slump on the door, sighing in relief.
