ಥ_ಥ I almost cried when I saw this already hit 400+ reads. Thank you so much for the support! I'll try my best to update more frequently. Now on to the story!

"Camp?"

"Coach Nekomata didn't tell you yet?" I shook my head at the question.

"We always have these practice matches for training." Kuroo says.

"Isn't it so cool (F/n)-san?! We're going to fight against Fukurodani!" Lev beams.

"Fukurodani?"

"They're just a bunch of annoying owls." Kuroo retorts.

"Kenma-san says that they have one of the top five spikers in the country!" Lev says.

"T-top five?! That's so cool!"

"Apparently, Coach invited Karasuno too, so we'll be seeing that freak quick again." My eyes light up at the mention of Karasuno. Ever since I met Shoyo, I've always seen him as a little brother, even though he's just a tad bit taller than me. Kuroo quirked his brown at the sight.

"We not only get to practice with one of the top five spikers in the country, but against the freak quick too!" I say, smiling. The excitement started to build up in me. 'I wonder what Fukurodani is like?'

"Oh, Shinzen and Ubugawa will be there too." After hearing this, my excitement immediately dropped, a small frown on my face.

"I-Isn't that too much people?" I ask nervously. Unfortunately, I still haven't gotten used to being surrounded by a large amount of people.

"Don't worry about it kitten, it's not like they're gonna bite or anything." Kuroo reassures me, ruffling my hair. I slap his hands away from my head, before it can get any more frizzier.

"Oow~ That hurts." I smile triumphantly. I knew that my slaps hurt a lot since I mostly focused on practicing my spikes. Kuroo looks at me in disbelief.

"Does my pain bring pleasure to you? You little sadist." He mumbles the last part, which I could still hear clear as day.

An irk-mark visibly formed on my forehead, and punched him in the shoulder. Bad idea. I quickly retract my fist, remembering that my punches weren't as strong as my slaps. My knuckles turning to a light shade of crimson. Kuroo laughed at this and flicked my forehead. Which lead into an idle fight.

"Stop it. Practice is about to start." Kenma steps in between us and pushed us away from each other. I look at the clock on the wall, only to see that it was still early.

"But, the others haven't even arrived yet. And it's still early." I point out.

"It's best if we already start our warm-ups so we can start practice early.."

"Are you--" Before Kuroo finish his sentence, Kenma interrupted him with a small glare. 'What's that about?' I ask myself, confused.

"Starting tomorrow, right (F/n)-san?" I nod. Lev smiles at me before saying goodbye, and caching up to Inouka. Leaving me with Kenma, who was busy smashing the buttons on his console.

"What does he mean?"

"Inouka and Lev, as well as Yamamoto kinda forced me to help them with their studying." I say, rubbing my nape sheepishly. I'm not really the best when it comes to teaching. Heck, i'm not even that smart.

"You could've said no.." Kenma mumbled.

"How can I? Lev was really looking forward to it. I could've sworn I saw his eyes sparkle." I laugh, thinking about the incident earlier. I looked towards Kenma, who was glaring at his game.

"Are you okay Kenma?" He looked at me for a second before going back to his game.

"You seem kinda off today.."

"I do not." He replies bluntly.

"See?" I say, referring to the way he spoke. He sighs.

"I just can't defeat this level.." I blink a few times. 'Is that all?' I let out a small laugh.

"Are you sure that's all? You aren't hiding anything from me, are you?" I ask. He shakes his head.

"You'll beat it eventually. Remember what you said back then? 'Even if a game doesn't seem clearable at first, after repeatedly playing it over and over again, you can conquer it'." I say, trying my best to imitate his voice.

"I do not sound like that."

"You're missing the point!" I sigh.

"You still remember your promise right?" I tilt my head in confusion, and racked my brain for a few seconds.

"Nevermind--"

"Oh! Of course, how can I forget?" I say, smiling. I nearly forgot about the promise I made to him last night.

"You better be on by eight." I say threateningly, while a small laugh escaped his lips. My eyes visibly at the sound of this.

"Did you just laugh?"

"No."

"Yes you did! Do it again!"

"No."

"Please--"

"No."

The walk back home, was filled with my frivolous attempts to make Kenma laugh again. A few banters here and there. I even tried to tickle him! But nothing worked. We eventually parted, just as the moon made its appearance in the dark sky.

Time for a hellish round of games.

Sorry! I deeply apologize for not updating my story. I know you're looking forward to another chapter. My father will be bringing his computer with him for 3 days, which means I will not be able to update in the next three days (since his computer is the only gadget I can write with ≡(▔﹏▔)≡ ).

I just decided to write a filler chapter, since I would feel bad if I won't update tomorrow (the original time I was supposed to update the story). I know, even the filler chapter is crappy, sorry about that. But I promise to make it up in the next chapter, which I hope I will be able to publish in 5 days? I'm not really sure.

Again, sorry to make you wait. I hope I can still see you in the next chapter  >﹏<
