Chapter 9
I wish I could make it easy, easy to love me... Mr. Probz - "Waves"
Warren pulled back the crisp bed sheet to reveal his man-hood in bright light that came from the small televison screen. He had been waiting on the moment for over three weeks to get Honaray back in their one bed room apartment that they shared together, but the feelings that he had for Casey kept him from completing the task.

Back story
Before Casey became his thoughts, he enjoyed random nights out of his busy weeks of being an accountant, having amazing sex and dinner dates with Honaray. During that time in their relationship, they both had shared more than unpredictable days of romance, but they had an awesome friendship. Honaray had a passion for discovering the unknown, and he loved that about her. When her father died from colon cancer, Warren had the hardest time trying to get through to Honaray. She blocked him away; during the period of time when he knew that she needed him the most. As much as she wanted to open up to Warren, she couldn't, he thought he wouldn't have the right words to say. She felt as if God had punished her for some reason that she could not understand.
Her mother forgave her father a long time ago; after finding out that her father had been sexually abusing her since she was the innocent and tender age of nine. Honaray faulted herself for destroying her mother and father's marriage, after watching her mother put effort into being a great wife, and her father still treats her as if she was shit. All Honaray wanted to do was to turn back the hands of time and reverse the pain that she felt as if she cost. She wished, she never told her mother what her father was doing to her, and then maybe things would not have happened so fast. Opening up to Warren was harder than what it was to do to her own mother. Being judged by the man, who accepted, cherished and loved her for he had fallen in love with, was what pain her the most. (After not being able to open up for months on in, he turned to Casey.)
Honaray worked at a local Brother's gas station on the West Bank of New Orleans when she met Malone. It was something about his commanding presence that kept her intrigued to get to know him. She would always be in luck, to see him walk into the gas station and get $20.00 or $40.00 dollars worth of gas on whatever pump he was on. He would always give her a slight smile that flashed his almost perfect bright white smile. A man with good dental hygiene and all over body hygiene was a huge plus for her. She would always wonder, where the hell, he was going like that during a week to burn $20 or $40 dollars worth of gas in a two- day span? She really did not want to be at work a few days after he fathers' funeral, but she needed all her bills paid, and bus fare to get back and forth. One day after work, she was waiting at a W3 bus stop only because, Warren was at work and he didn't know, what time he would be getting off. Honaray really wanted to get the hell out of the gas station that day, after feeling over work.
She waited at the bus stop looking and feeling frustrated. That very day she wore little to no foundation and her black eyeliner was smeared from the whipping wind that was irritating her eyes and drying out her honey brown contacts. It was only twenty minutes after the hour, and the bus would have been there any minute. Her headphones were in and Ed Sheeran's delightful voice was taking her away from her circumstance. Malone was on his way to one of his home boy's houses to pick up a few bootlegged DVD's when he spotted Honaray sitting lonely on the bench at the bus stop. Traffic that day was heavy, being that it was after six and everyone was either getting home from work or trying to find somewhere to eat. Without any hesitation, he turned on his turning signal and pulled into the nearest parking lot to Honaray, while she was paying the traffic no attention.
On the low, he was waiting for the opportunity to talk to her, but he didn't want any of the Arabs that worked at the gas station in his business. He was driving his 1987 all mid-night black and silver Monte' Carlo SS, that he just had purchased four months before. He knew that Honaray wouldn't have noticed it was him from the dark tint he had on his windows, that was just a little hard to see through from far away. Malone had a thing for old school cars and an even bigger thing for Honaray. Unlike Talisha, Honaray carried herself in such matter that she knew, kept a man's attention. Honaray was young, flirtatious, and a problem to any man who wanted to deal with her. Malone wanted to take that chance, even though he was in a relationship with Talisha.
