"So who's up for truth or dare?"

Rachel scoffed at Jess. "Really? How old are you?" she asked sarcastically.

"27," Jess pushed past Rachel, unphased. "And I want to play truth or dare!"

Asher bounded off the couch, high-fiving Jess as she passed. "Great idea, Jess." He grinned wolfishly as he hurried to the kitchen, grabbing as much beer as he could carry. Balancing the stack of bottles precariously, he lapped the room to load his friends with alcohol. Rachel rolled her eyes as he passed, but took a few bottles anyway.

He flopped back down on the couch. "So who's first?"

"That sounds like volunteering to me," Rachel mused over the neck of her beer bottle.

Jess smirked. "Asher, I dare you to kiss Rachel!" She spun to watch Rachel react, and was thoroughly underwhelmed.

"Boring," she yawned, taking another sip.

Asher laughed. "Sorry, Jess. Rachel and I have kissed like a thousand times."

"We 'dated' for two years in high school." Rachel punctuated the sentence with air quotes, and almost dropped her bottle.

Jess pouted for a moment, scowling. "Fine, um..." She looked around the room, eyeing everyone for a few seconds. "I dare you to kiss Asif instead."

Asher pushed himself off the couch with a heave, and crossed the room to a chorus of "ooh"s and wolf whistles. He helped Asif stand, and gave him a significant look down the bridge of his nose. "You cool with this?"

Asif looked to Jane, who shrugged. He looked up at Asher again and nodded. "Yeah, go ahead."

Asher grinned at him. He first raised his hands and slid Asif's glasses off his face. He folded them up, and hung them by the arm from Asif's collar. He dropped one hand and gently rested it on Asif's waist. The other reached up and tilted his chin up gently. The kiss was soft, and only lasted a second. Asher pulled away and gave Asif a small smile before returning to his seat across the room. Asif stood for just a moment longer before sitting again.
