Next day

Y/n POV

I wake up feeling good. Shinobu is by my side and she holds me closely. She is so cute sleeping. Shinobu knows my job and has accepted what I am. I don't know how but she has. Is it my past? Pity or love. I sense only one and it is love. Shinobu is the only one to love me for who I am. She stays by my side all the time now. I like it. I don't feel so lonely anymore.

"Y/n why are you staring at me?" Shinobu says.

I get out of my trance.

"I am sorry if I scared you. Your face is just to beautiful not to look at." I say.

Shinobu giggles softly and kisses my forehead.

"Those two demon slayers were not killed by demons but a bullet. Did you do that?" Shinobu says calmly.

My eyes widen but I keep my composure.

"Yes I did. Remember I told you I work for the mafia now. I use to like 200 years and then I quite. All of the clans or gangs know I am back out. They want me to do some missions. Those two demon slayers were bad." I say

Shinobu sighs and caresses my cheek.

"I know this is your job now but you can't lose your humanity Y/n. Just be honest with me." Shinobu says.

"I always will. We had another mission but I decided to come home early so she did. I can't tell you her name but she is a lesbian. Don't worry she has a girlfriend." I say.

Shinobu studies my face and smiles.

"Good. Can I meet this partner of yours." Shinobu says.

"Maybe." I say.

Shinobu and I kiss. I get on top of her and we hug.

"I love cuddling with you." I mumble.

"As do I." Shinobu whispers.

I lay on her chest and get comfy.

" I love you and if someone kisses me or tries to love me other than you I will kill them all." I whisper

She rubs my arm and kisses my forehead.

"That is something you shouldn't do but thank you anyway for trying honey." Shinobu whispers.

I look up at her.

"In your eyes I see the hate when people flirt with me or touch me. I know that feeling." I whisper

Shinobu rubs her fingers through my hair.

"I do get jealous I guess." Shinobu emits.

"Now I have to be away from you when night falls. I feel bad. So so so bad." I whisper.

I'm so tired and Shinobu chuckles at my child like behavior.

"It is fine Y/n. As long as you come back sane." Shinobu whispers.

I kiss her and lay my head in her lap.

"I wish I could be better and some killer you fell in love with." I mumble.

"Y/n I love you just the way you see. I know it is tough but now you have goal and that is me. Just think of our promise to help." Shinobu says softly.

"Yeah." I mumble.

I get on top of her suddenly.

"I want to do more. I love you so much. I can't stay away from you." I whisper.

Her eyes widen and she puts her hand on my cheek. She pulls me to her neck and I lay with her in bed. We start to relax more. I love her so much. I hold her closely. We start to fall asleep together.
