Next day: Night time

Kaigaku POV

My brother has still not come back yet. I am in my room reading a book. Maybe I can see her again. I put down my book and sneak out my window. I run out of the mansion and have on some descent clothes. I walk down the alleyway and see the bar. I walk in and see Jill and the other staff. Deal is here by himself it seems. Sei and Stella are in the back chatting. I sit down.

"Hello and welcome to Valhalla Mr. Kaigaku." Jill says.

I chuckle.

"No need to be so formal. This is a bar after all." I say.

She is as cold as stone. I wonder what happened to her?

"I guess you have a point. Anyway what can I get you?" Jill says.

"Just a glass of whiskey." I say.

"Coming right up." Jill says.

The doors open and it is Dorothy I think.

"HHHoooonney Can you ggget me a Sugar Rush!!!" Dorothy shouts.

"Don't yell please. Other customers are here." Jill says coldly.

"No need to be so cold Jill. I just need a drink please. The Sugar Rush please." She says.

Jill nods. She hands me my drinks and our hands touch a little. I blush a bit and take a sip of my drink. Jill is unfazed by this and seems to be in a bad mood. I wonder why?

"I know it is not my place but are you ok? You seem quite sad Jill." I say.

"I am fine but thank you for your concern," Jill says.

She is hiding her emotions. Kinda like my brother. He only tells Shinobu what his feelings are or if he is sad.

"Are you sure. I know I may be a stranger but I have been through some shit myself in my life. Didn't really have a happy childhood." I say.

She looks at me a bit surprised.

"I-Oh I am so sorry." Jill says.

I give her a warm smile.

"It is fine. I don't want to push you but it is nit good to keep feelings pent up." I say.

"Just don't worry about." Jill says.

I sigh.

"Can I have a beer." I say.

"Coming right up." Jill says.

I sit up and walk over to her boss.

"Is your bartender really ok. She should talk to someone." I say.

"Jill knows how to take care of herself. She will come around. Don't worry about her and enjoy the drinks." Dana says

"If you say so." I say.

I walk back to the stool and she has the beer ready.

"Thanks." I say.

"No problem." Jill says.

I start talking with Stella and Sei. They are nice people. Deal and Betty join me.

"Kaigaku fo you want to come to a party next week. You seem like a nice guy." Dana says.

"Can my brother come. He is really nice and I think he would like Jamie." I say.

"I have meet your brother once. He was quite nice. He came to this bar once." Dana says.

"Did he really?!" I say.

"Yes he did. Came in when he was ill. He only would talk with me and Jill. He came in twice talking about his wife. He talked about her none stop." Dana says
