Charpter 29

The Next day

Y/n POV

I wake up feeling tired like usual. Shinobu is up looking through her books. She sees I am awake and walks over to the bed. She takes my temperature and puts an IV in my arm.

"Y/n stay still." Shinobu says.

She puts a needle on my shoulder. It doesn't hurt at all. Shinobu as a reward kissing me softly and parts. I smirk as she walks back to her seat. Shinobu does the same. I roll back into bed. Shinobu is so beautiful. I love her so much. My stomach hurts and I get up. Shinobu immediately goes to my side and hands me the trash can. I start throwing up again and she rubs my back.

"I am here. Let it all out honey." Shinobu says softly.

I start crying due to the pain I am in. Shinobu holds me and I cry in her chest. She holds back her emotions and puts in her fake smile. This is eating her away. I grab my stomach and curl up in a ball.

"Shinobu it is ok." I whisper.

"No it is not. Let me give you some sedatives." Shinobu says.

"No let someone else who needs it have it." I say.

"No Y/n!! Stop saying that. I don't care about anyone else. I need you in my life. I that smile if yours." Shinobu pleads.

I get up and hug her. My body is so sore. I get up. She is getting mad and concerned.

"Y/n you need to sit down. Please!! For me." Shinobu says.

I kiss her forehead and pat her head.

"I am fine." I say.

The pain is still there but not that bad. I hold onto the wall. Shinobu helps me. I am such a burden to her. I wish I could be cured if this illness and not have to make everyone suffer.

"Shinobu I am sorry I am such a burden." I say.

She pulls my ear.

"You have never been a burden but the light in my life you dummy." Shinobu says.

I hug her and she hugs back harder. I sit back down. She lets me lay my head in her shoulder.

"Why did you fall in love with a demon." I say.

"I did because you showed me kindness." Shinobu says.

I let down a tear and Shinobu wipes it away. I start becoming sleepy. My muscles start to relax and my breathing slows down. Am I dying. I cling onto Shinobu but I can't help being so tired.

"It is ok honey. You can sleep on me." Shinobu says.

I hum in response. I close my eyes and let myself drift off into gaga land.

Later on

3rd Person POV

Y/n and Shinobu explained what is going on to the hashira and the master. All have agreed on this plan and Y/n is ready to the party. Everyone is ready. Y/n is wearing a suit. Shinobu is wearing a nice dress. People start to come in. The hashira are seated. Sitting at Y/n's table is Shinobu, Kanae and Kaigaku.

"Brother lets get something to eat. I am hungry." Kaigaku whines.

Kanae is mad at his bad manners and pinches his cheek.

"Owww!!! What was that for." Kaigaku says.

"Don't act like a toddler at a fancy party. It is rude." Kanae scolds.

Kaigaku sighs and nods. Shinobu keeps an eye on Y/n but also wants to have a bit of fun with Y/n. Shinobu gets up.

"I am going to get some food. I will get you plate Y/n." Shinobu says.
