Neji x Reader- WTF LEE??

My savior? Part 2 (plot)

whoa this ended up being longer than I thought BUT, as promised, more Neji stuff is coming next chapter... enjoy!  :)

(THE NIGHT BEFORE: Lee's POV) 

After Neji had thrown Lee out of the house, Lee began to make his way home for the night in a daze. The moon shone bright in the sky illuminating the streets of the village, but Lee could hardly make out his surroundings. What he had witnessed had completely left his head spinning and his thoughts clouded. The bruises all over [y/n]'s body, the tears in her eyes, the noises he had heard. All signs pointed to the same thing. Neji must have beaten his wife! Lee couldn't believe that his teammate could do such a thing but there was all the evidence right before his eyes! "Wait, why am I running away?" Lee suddenly realized and dug his heels into the ground. Freezing in his tracks, his thoughts began to organize themselves again. "As a ninja of the Leaf and more importantly, as [y/n]'s friend, it is my duty to protect her. But how?" he wondered out loud. "Ugh if only Guy sensei were here, he would know what to do. He is the wisest, coolest, and most amazing ninja in the entire Leaf Village. I am so blessed to have him as my sensei!" Lee began to tear up as his heart swelled with admiration for his team leader and mentor. "Of course!" Lee cried as the realization hit him. "How could I have been so blind. I will simply bring the situation to Guy sensei's attention! Surely he will know what to do." With fists clenched in determination Lee took off in the direction of Guy's house all the while thinking to himself 'if I can not reach Guy sensei's house in the next 3 minutes then I must do 500 pushups. If I can not do 500 push ups, then I must do 600 squats. If I can not do 600 squats...' and so on.

PRESENT TIMELINE: (reader pov)

As Lee sprinted away with me flopped over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes, my body was jostled and bumped at every step of the way. When we finally arrived at our destination and Lee set me back down on my feet again I was about ready to either pass out or throw up. My head was spinning like crazy and I could hardly stand up straight. Noticing this, Lee picked me up once again and carried me inside the building we had stopped at. Once the door swung closed behind us the savory scent of freshly grilled meats drifted up towards my nose making my mouth water. Before I could take a look around to see which barbeque restaurant we were in, I felt my body jolt as I was suddenly hoisted up into the air.

"GUY SENSEI, LOOK I BROUGHT [Y/N] JUST LIKE YOU ASKED!" Lee exclaimed, raising me above his head. Involuntarily, I let out a surprised squeak. My face felt like it was on fire and I'm sure I turned red as a lobster as the entire restaurant became deathly quiet. I could feel every pair of eyes in the room on us as the other customers turned to look in our direction.

"Grrrrreat work Lee!" said a man nearly identical to Lee. He had on the same deep green unitard and was sporting a matching shiny bowl cut. Guy lifted a 'thumbs-up' at us and flashed a dazzling smile in our direction. "Why don't you both come on over so we can have a little chat," he said with a wink motioning for us to join him at his booth in the corner of the room.

Meat sizzled on the hot grill in the middle of the table wafting the mouth watering scent towards me. The heat rising off of its surface partially distorted my view of Lee and Guy momentarily and for a mere second I wasn't sure which one was which until Guy began to speak.

"Allllright, it's tIme we get down to business. [Y/n], Lee came to me very distraught last night asking for help," he explained. "I want you to know that no matter what happens, Might Guy and Rock Lee are here to support you."

"Huh? What are you guys even talking about?" I demanded feeling irritation bubbling up inside of me. I had been walked in on naked and basically kidnapped (both by Lee! In the last 24 hours) and now they're planning some sort of intervention? What the fuck is up with these guys.

"Lee told me everything. He told me about the bruises, the crying. Have no fear, for Might Guy is here! You don't have to defend Neji anymore. I give you my word, we will not let him abuse you again," he said valiantly before giving me another thumbs up and a flashy smile.

I swear my jaw nearly hit the floor. "YOU THINK NEJI IS ABUSING ME?" I gasped. This explained all of Lee's odd behavior. Lee must be such a bottom that he's never left as many marks on a woman before as Neji had left on me last night, I realized then how he could have been mistaken. "Oh my sweet innocent Lee," I chuckled. "I realize what you saw may have looked bad but I promise Neji isn't abusing me," I tried explaining calmly. Well, he was definitely abusing my pussy last night, but I can't say that I thought to myself. With that, I threw my head back and continued to laugh at his pure innocence. The two men gawked at me with identical blank expressions until my laughter died down.

"So... those marks weren't from Neji?" Lee asked finally, clearly confused.

"Umm... Well, no they were...hehe," I mumbled with a shy smile.

"Well if they weren't caused by a beating, how in the hell did you end up in that condition?" He demanded. The three of us went silent. I coyly glanced back and forth between Guy and Lee waiting for them to get it.

"Well... we are married after all and we really missed each other after being apart for so long..." I mumbled while looking down at the table, too embarrassed to look the men in the eye. After a moment of uncomfortable silence, I snuck a peek back up at them. Neither of them seemed to comprehend what I was getting at yet, much to my frustration. With a sigh I looked each of them squarely in the eye in turn while I spoke as bluntly as I could. "Neji and I want to have a baby so we fucked really hard last night. All of those marks you saw are either hickeys or fingerprints from Neji and I couldn't walk very well today because he did a very good job last night." There.

Both of them sat frozen in place, eyes bulging out of their heads and mouths hanging agape. Both of them turned red and tomatoes. Finally, Guy turned to face Lee. His dumbfounded face contorted into utter rage and shame. "LEE, YOU IDIOT!" He exclaimed. At the same moment his fist connected with Lee's jaw with a thunderous bang, sending him flying through the wall of the restaurant and leaving behind a perfect Lee-shaped hole. Jumping through the hole in the wall, Guy raced over to where Lee lay crumpled on the street. I quickly scampered out of my seat and followed suit unsure of what would happen next. "HOW COULD YOU HAVE SPREAD SUCH VICIOUS RUMORS ABOUT YOUR OWN TEAMMATE?" Guy demanded, "You have even made a fool of ME, Lee" he concluded and fell to his knees in a dramatic show of shame.

"Guy sensei! It was so foolish of me. Forgive me," Lee began to cry and bowed repeatedly towards both Guy and myself. Tears and snot streamed down his face as he begged for forgiveness.

Suddenly Guy sprung to his feet. He crossed his arms in his best power pose, "As your punishment, Lee, you will do 500, no, 2000 push-ups! AND you must apologize to Neji for nearly destroying his image. You can do it when you kids hit that hotspring tonight like you always do after a mission," Guy declared.

"Yes Guy sensei, of course Guy sensei! I only wish I was as wise as you Guy sensei," Lee continued to grovel at his master's feet until I suggested that I head home and bid them both farewell. It was barely noon and already I was exhausted from the day. Nevertheless, a small smile spread across my lips as I thought of Lee's almost angelic innocence. While I somehow managed to find it adorable, I had no doubt in my mind that my husband would NOT react as nonchalantly towards Lee after hearing of this misunderstanding. I decided it was best to just not mention any of it when I got home.
