It's almost as a dream, Athanasia found herself in her younger day, to be exact, 6 years old. Athanasia overjoyed and she ended up crying quietly. The maid who was passing by the room saw and comfort Athanasia, wondering herself why did she cried. She looked at the maid and realized who was it, it was Hannah. A maid that other than Lily cared for her dearly and wished from the bottom of her heart for the princess to be happy. 

Athanasia jumped and hugged Hannah tightly, as in the time she was imprisoned, Lily and the maids of the Ruby palace begged the Emperor to stop my execution and start a proper investigation. The Emperor coldly ordered the knights just to kill off the maids who were "filthy and rude" infront of him. No one survive, in that bloody evening of the main hall.

Hannah was confused but she quickly hugged the dear princess infront of her back. It wasn't proper for a lowly maid to hug their master, especially the princess of an Empire. But the love of the mother for Athanasia raised in the heart of Hannah and couldn't stop herself. She was the princess family member, despite her lowly status of a commoner. Everyone in the Ruby palace were Athanasia family, they cared, sympathetic, talked with Athanasia till the very last day of her freedom life. 

The knights of the palace were known for their arrogant attitude towards everyone, expect the Emperor. But the knights who were placed in the Ruby palace were kind-hearted and very polite towards their master. Eventually the number of knights were only 10 to the max. 

Even so, Athanasia was very appreciated for them and consider them as her only hope in the darkest days of her life, in this luxurious prison without a blood-family. But this time, she won't let any difficult emotions control her life and mind anymore. Love from her biological father isn't necessary with her anymore. It's all useless no matter how hard she'll try. Athanasia is a bright girl, she know when to stop and when to keep going. She won't repeat her deadly mistake anymore. She'll live in the hatred of the Emperor for her, then, she shall hate him and curse him till his death. 

After all, she's a rightful heir to the throne and that's that. She's his only daughter who's revealed to the public and societies right now. She has to take the opportunity and make it her advantage. She don't want to die helplessly and in vain, it was too hurtful. For her, and for her dear family who were her everything but blood ties. . .

But to defeat the cold-blooded monster, she has to be come more cold and evil. She has to, it was her only way of surviving and there's no other way around. A voice cut her thoughts by touching her fluffy cheeks in a worry voice.

"Princess, are you feeling alright? Should I call the Royal doctors?" It was Lilian York, her nanny from the very beginning. Chestnut bun haired with turquoise eyes, often seen with her head maid outfit. A beautiful young lady from a low-rank noble family who begged the cold-blooded Emperor to be the princess nanny. A person that Athanasia treasured and seen as her own mother. 

"L,Lily?.." Athanasia slowly and tearfully call out Lilian York nickname, Lily. She want to cry, but she can't show her weak side, she hold her joy tears and hug Lily. "Princess? Are you alright? What happened?" Lily was confused, like how Hannah did. By the princess sudden change in behavoiur. Athanasia realized what she did and quickly fix it by wipe away her tears and leave out an acceptable reason.

"A,ah. I was thinking about something..horrible. It was nothing, it was just my imaginations." Athanasia force herself to smile and said. Lily looked at her with a worry look but then released the princess and told everyone to get out, "Princess, if you have any worries in your heart, please do not hesitate and tell me. I'll do my best to help you." Such a warm tone took place in Athanasia's heart. She smiled, quietly.
