"It's been a while..." the platinum haired princess mutter as she watch the clear blue sky. A maid carefully approach her, as she noticed Athanasia's upset mood. "Princess, today's tea is Heriy, a leaf from the south, along with a chocolate cake, as you've ordered." with respect and her carefulness, Athanasia gives her a smile, "Thank you~I've been waiting! You can go now." the maid bowed and leave Athanasia all alone in the white elegant table set in the beautiful garden.
"Goshhhh, it's been a while since I last talked to her, and the debutane is also coming up.. ng------sigh...It's tiring." Athanasia sips her tea, and then sighed again, showing her tiring and upset mood. She lays back the chair, releasing her arms, close her eyes, this was her relaxing pose whenever she felt stressed. "As expected, this is the best way to relieve my stress..."
"Hey, are you dead?" a woman voice suddenly ring by Athanasia's ears and make her jolt, it was Akuji. "Oh, were you sleeping?" Athanasia quickly fix her sitting pose, while her mind was still surprised and doesn't understand what's going on. "A-Akuji! You scared me, why did you visit me so suddenly?" try her best to keep a calm face is harder when you don't understand what is going and is in a surprised state.
Despite Athanasia surprised face and her replaying question, Akuji sat down at the chair infront of Athanasia, "Well, I did promise that we will meet again, and I'm not a person who can't keep my promises you know." she place her right hand on the table, directly look at Athanasia. "Maybe you don't want me here?"
"N-no! That's not the case! I mean, of course I'd be surprised if you pop out of nowhere." pouting her mouth, Athanasia showed an unexpectely cute face, making Akuji surprised, "Hah, she can still make those kind of face....This is refreshing."
"So you say you'd tell me everything." the Princess that couldn't wait for an answer, and a former Princess smile brightly sitting infront of her. "So I actually organized my questions...So-"
"Questions aren't necessary. I'll the you the whole thing that happened instead, so you'd have a better knowledge about it." rubbing her head and stretch her arms, Akuji was quite tired. "This whole thing is complicated and long, I won't repeat myself so listen carefully."
"I grew up just like your past life, neglected and then Jeanette comes takes all the favors and spotlight. Supposely, my life have to end like others Athanasias', but it did not. When I was 18, I was accused, but I didn't begged Claude to save my life, but instead, a chance to explain myself and find the true culprit. And of course, I succeed. But he didn't gave her a death sentence, instead, he banned her from entering the Palace, which was undone later due to Jeanette's request. I thought that Claude would atleast start to care about me more after I've prove my innocence and intelligence, but no. He even crowned Jeanette as the Crown Princess and push her works onto me, while she receiving all kinds of praises of doing an excellent job as the Crown Princess, I was insulted for being a nuisance and doing nothing good for the Palace." Akuji grit and her aura turns dangerous, that made the air suffocating.
"I endured it for a year, one fucking year. Until I found his existence, the former emperor, Anasticius de Alger Obelia, Claude's deadass brother and Jeanette's biological father. Of course at first I did not realize it was him, I only saw him as a friend who will listen to my rants and give me advices. Later on, he foolessly gave me hints that he was Anasticius, I'm not dumb, such revivement can be done but only with dark magic. And the curse he's now bearing for using such compilicated dark magic...is death." Akuji can feel her heart tighten, has she grow an attachment to him? Akuji knows dirt well, growing an attachment to a person that is soon-to-die wouldn't bring anything useful but pain. She shook this idea off her head and continue the story.
"Well, it's not like I really cared about this neither way, he's a brother of that jerk and that chimera's biological father. I'm....only using him. Anyway what do you want to know more?" finishing her story, she calmly asked Athanasia who was dazed at that time. "Athanasia?" she repeat once more to wake up Athanasia, "A-ah yes! Um, why does each dimesion have different outcomes?.." an unexpected and interesting question.
"Hmm...I'm not too sure myself neither but, it's for experiment. To see which dimesion's outcome is the most fitting, for something I don't even know myself." then silence came again, Akuji didn't have anything to says anymore, all she have to do now is wait for Athanasia's answer.
"....It hurts." the small but sound hurted voice, it was Athanasia's.
"Huh?....What do you mean?" couldn't understand the young girl words, Akuji frowns while thinks hard. "We are just all experiments, our rages, hopes, sadness and lives were just all tools for something better. It hurts." the young girl express her words sincerely, Akuji did not thought of this at all. Silence once again approach the scene, "...Surely, she's more human than I am." Akuji smiles and opens her mouth, "Well, who cares about that anyway? Look at you and me now, aren't we special experiments then? We escapes death and now is waiting for a chance to rebuild our lives. Don't be sad, be strong, the debutane is just around the corner, you have to face those nobles soon." the words are like a mother's, but instead it was herself cheering for her, Athanasia smiles and nods, "...Alright."
The Debutane is Coming.

It was the morning of the debutane, the palaces were in a hurry to prepare to celebrate the special event. The Emerald Palace, in other words, Athanasia's palace, were busy from the morning to prepare for the young Princess.
-"Where's the silks?"
-"Fix the tiara!"
-"The hair pins and perfumes, bring them here!"
It was a total chaos. Athanasia never did experience such proper preparations for her own debutane, it felt strange. "Argh, Lily, can we skip the torso part?" a whining Athanasia having an unpleasant look for the tighten torso. "Unfortunately it's a no, princess. This is required." having no mercy on the pitful princess, Lily refused her.
"Princess, who'll be yours first dance partner?" Ces asked Athanasia with a super excited attitude.
"Hm? Wasn't it sir Felix? Your bodyguard. He's quite handsome but he's very kind too~" Hannah says in a high-pitched voice.
"Now, now, stop talking around and do your works." Lily came and told the maids to work, when she's very curious herself.
"Sir Felix? Well, I did thought of that idea but....He seemed to dislikes the idea and stressed so I'll have Father as my first partner." answered the questions even though she didn't even asked Claude beforehand. Lily sighed as a relief and the process continue until it was the time of the ball.

Guests from all over the empire arrived for the debutane, from a baron to a duke. They were all curious about the hidden Princess's face. Athanasia was escorted to the ball with the help of Felix and was left alone with Claude, waiting for the time to come out. They were both awkward with each other, Athanasia was deep in thoughts and Claude was nervous for his daughter.
"Hey, father." Athanasia calls out Claude while looking at another direction, "Will you be my first dance partner? Well, since I have none." she didn't even blink, it was just a merely request. Yet Claude felt happy, maybe his daughter finally decided to opens her heart? Who knows, but he definitely can't let go of this chance. "..Very well, I shall be your first dance partner."
Athanasia giggles, "Well, thanks daddy." She dropped the formalities and called him daddy, she did not want to call him that ever, but she thought it'd be fun to tease him and she was right. Claude was dazed and surprised at the young girl's word. "Huh?"
"It's a joke, don't take it seriously, father." she offers him her hand and smiles at him.
"....I wish it wasn't, really." Claude sighed and accepts her hand and make a signal for the servant to make the announcment.
"Make way for His Majesty, Claude de Alger Obelia and her Highness, Athanasia de Alger Obelia!"
