Freddie and Beck were standing in front of a large window, looking at all the people who were about to either make the biggest mistakes of their lives or become one step closer to the greatest day of their lives, either way it was a building that would change their lives forever. They gave each other a look, then nodded and slowly opened the door to their futures.
That walked over to the desk and gulped in unison when a young lady looked up at them with big brown eyes. Brown eyes like Carly's and Tori's, as if it was a sign telling them that they had another option. Her brown hair flowing down past her shoulders just like Carly's and Tori's.
"You gonna say something or just stare." She snapped at them.
Freddie and Beck smiled.
She may have an image more like Carly and Tori, but her attitude was more like Sam and Jade. It wasn't a sign to consider their other options, it was a sign to let them know that they already had exactly who they wanted.
Their fears melted away and they both grinned at the girl brightly.
"We need rings." They said together.
She smacked her gum. "Follow me." She got up and they saw a shirt with a piece of bacon frying an egg on it that said Friendship is weird, it was funny and creepy. It was as if Sam and Jade were thrown into a blender and mixed together until this chick popped out. "Here ya go, our best guy rings." She blew a bubble, popped it, then went back to smacking her gum.
Freddie and Beck blushed while side stepping away from each other.
"Uh, no, I'm looking for my girlfriend. And- And he's looking for his girl-" Freddie stuttered out then gulped.
Beck nodded. "Yeah, we're not, uh, we have girlfriends and we just friends." He rubbed at the back of his neck awkwardly. "We need rings for girls."
She smacked her gum again and held up her hands. "Hey, no judgement. It's cool. I thought you meant you needed rings for each other." She shrugged. "You make a cute couple, but if ya like the chicks then you like the chicks."
Freddie's eyes widened and he refused to look at Beck. "Yes, girls. I like girls. I don't call them chicks, just girls, uh, women, or uh, ladies?"
"I'm like a girl magnet, but my girl gets mad when they flirt with me, but I'm all about girls." Beck chuckled.
She shrugged. "Again, no judgement. Follow me to the girl rings."
Freddie nearly bumped into Beck, but he quickly backed away to let Beck follow after her first. He sighed and rubbed at his face. He was already stressed enough. He didn't need things to be awkward with Beck as well.
"Here we have your princess cut and here we have your pricey diamonds. Both of which are a big hit with the ladies." She shrugged. "I mean they make me wanna puke, but I'm not really supposed to say that stuff."
Beck chuckled feeling a little more comfortable now that his mind was on Jade again. "Yeah, my girlfriend would puke too." He laughed. "She likes things more dark and creepy."
"And mine prefers the rough and edgy." Freddie chimed in with a smile.
The girl nodded. "My kinda gals. Okay then, follow me to the area I like."
They followed her towards the back of the store away from the light of the window and behind a red curtain.
"Uh, are we still in the same store?"
She nodded. "Yeah, but my boss keeps these beauties, or as she calls them eye sores, hidden away from the big window. We might lose customers if they saw them, but I have people come in who look for stuff like this, like you guys, so we keep them back here. They are only for the cool girls." She opened up a black box and their faces lit up. "See something your girlfriend would like?" She smirked.
