Bright shining star

(Warning: spoilers ahead,mention of death)

Third POV

"Shorter are you ready?",eiji yelled out for shorter who was getting ready to go hang out with his best buddies

"Yeah yeah I'm coming just give me a sec eiji",shorter said and grabbed his jacket and phone before heading out with eiji

"Ah this feels nice to be out again",shorter said while smile

"It does feel nice doesn't it",eiji said and smiled too

After a while of walking downtown they stopped at the nearby library

Where ash had passed away

"Are you sure you can handle this eiji remember I'm not forcing you",shorter said

"It's ok besides it's been 2 years now and I'm ready to come back here and still smile",eiji said before walking up the stairs of the library and entering

He and shorter saw a young librarian sitting while reading

"Excuse me can I help you?",she said

"Oh we are just here to read you know to grow our minds",shorter said and chuckled

"Oh ok",the lady said weirded out now

Eiji and shorter walked inside where other people were reading too

Shorter had flowers while eiji had a letter he wrote to ash again

They sat down and shorter placed the flowers on the chair where ash died and eiji started quietly reading the letter he wrote

After a while they both read books while thinking ash was still here with them in spirit

Eiji always questioned himself if ash had live would everything be different

He asks himself this every day after ash's passing

"Hey eiji let's head out now there about to close the library",shorter said and picked up the flowers while eiji grabbed the letter

They headed out and headed to the grave yard where ash was Buried

Shorter placed down the flowers and eiji placed down the letter before crying

"Hey eiji it's ok he's happy now",shorter whispered into eiji's ear

"I know but I just wish he was happy here with me",eiji whispered

They stayed like that before the sun went down

"If it makes you feel better ash is actually watching us",shorter said

"How so?"

"You see the stars?",shorter asked

Eiji nodded before looking up

"He's now a star a bright shining star who's looking down at us",shorter said and smiled

Eiji chuckled but also smiled

"Your right he is a bright shining star",eiji said

"The most beautiful star",eiji whispered

And indeed ash was a bright shining star who kept shining even on his worst days

So I started watching banana fish in august and-
I LOVE IT SO MUCH THE ENDING MADE ME BAWL MY EYES OUT!!!
It was so beautiful and just the way it showed every day living in New York and how it is it's just amazing the whole anime was amazing but also sad 😞
