Twenty-Three

Jessica's POV:

"Alright, what should we do" Griffin asks. "We should go back to the house, I heard fans are there" Anthony says. "I'm down" I say. Everyone agrees to go back, so we get into the limo and leave. "Dude, Avani wants me to come home" Anthony says in the limo. "Why" Josh asks. "Don't know, i'll leave in two days." Anthony says. He loves Avani, and would do anything for her, I really like that about him. After about 10 minutes, we get to the house and see fans at the gate. We get out of the limo, "You'll be screaming just like them if you were with me" Bryce whispers to me. "Dude, stop. If you really liked me, you'd let me be fucking happy" I snap. The fans and everyone goes quiet and looks at us. "Dude back off" Josh says getting in between us. "Or what! You gonna hit me" Bryce mocks. "Alright, lets go inside" Jaden says dragging Bryce inside.

Bryce's POV:

Jaden drags me inside, "Dude what the fuck did you say to her" he says. "That she'll be screaming like the fans were if she was with me" I mumble. "What the fuck were you thinking? Josh is your best friend. Why would you do that" Jaden shouts. "Because she would be happier with me"I yell back. Jaden scoffs "Get over yourself, she may be pretty and all, but think about Josh" he says and walks away. I stand there for a while, thinking about what Jaden said. I walk upstairs where Josh and Jess are staying. I walk into the room and head straight to Jess's suitcase. "What are you doing" I hear from behind me. I turn around and see Josh and Jess. "I just wanted to come say i'm sorry. I was mad and upset that Jess chose you over me." I say. They both stay quiet and I silently panic. Do they know I was going to Jess's suitcase?

Josh's POV:

I really fucking hated Bryce, but I missed my friend more. "I'll think about it." I say. Jessica puts her head down, while Bryce smiles. "um, I'll go now" he says awkwardly. He leaves the room and I close the door. Once I close the door, I hear a sniffle. I turn around and see Jess on the verge of tears. "Baby, whats wrong" I ask hugging her. She fake laughs, "What do you mean" She says, "I'm fine" she continues. " Baby, you know you can talk to me, about anything. I'm always here" I reassure her. "Yea I know" She says.

Jessica's POV:

After Bryce apologized, I wanted to break down, but I couldn't, not in front of Josh. "Jess, can I talk to you" Josh asks suddenly. "Yeah, of course" I say. "Yesterday, I kinda saw something" Josh mumbles. "Okay" I say, sitting on the bed. "You have.. scars on your thighs and arms" Josh says, tears forming in his eyes. I look down, "Y-You saw those" I say. "Why" He asked on the verge of tears. "I'm sorry, i'm gonna go" I say getting up. I can feel my heart shatter when I don't hear him say no. But honestly, I kinda expected this, my ex and brother did the exact same thing. "You fucking cut 'cause your fucking useless" My ex always told me, and now, I couldn't believe it more.
