Quick note before you continue reading; I will be making longer chapters from now on, for the benefit that I have nothing else to do than writing books 😅Anyway, enjoy!~

Lion rubbed his eyes firmly as he sat up in the bed, his tired body leisurely rolling out of the warm sheets. He didn't want to get up, nor did he want to do chores, but if he didn't, he wouldn't be able to watch anime, and that only made him groan in annoyance as he overthought the consequences. Lion slipped himself into fresh clothes, stepping out of the room shortly after and spotting a box on the kitchen island. As curious as can be, Lion tiptoed his way towards it, placing his hands on each side of it and observing it with all his might. He didn't know if it was for him, surely he wouldn't touch it, but something told him to take a peek, just a little one. Lion sat down on one of the tall chairs, grabbing hold of the small box and slowly opening it. He didn't know what would come out of it, and so he pushed it onto the counter, his arms elongated as he continued to open it slowly. Lion noticed a small shine coming from the box, and an aromatic smell seeping out of it. He leaned forward, the box opened to its fullest as he noticed a cupcake. He didn't know why Elijah would ever bring him sweets, and something felt odd about how it; the toppings were green, and the cake was incredibly moist. Lion didn't take any chances and closed the cupcake box, pushing it away from him and turning away from it.
Lion began to look over the apartment with another large yawn, his feet padding on the ground as he grabbed a wet rag and began dusting away the dust bunnies on the large cabinets. He couldn't lie and say he didn't like doing chores because all his childhood, he would clean along with his mother and make sure the apartment was clean, that is until his father left, then things began to unravel for him, and he'd lost touch in cleaning. Lion continued swiping over small statuettes, observing each one and giggling at a few. How could a big scary man have statues of tiny princesses? Lion thought to himself, placing them back into their rightful places and moving on to the next area. He would have to admit; he was getting bored, the silence ringing in his ears as he passed the rag over the television stand. Maybe just a bit of music could help him feel better. Lion reached for the remote, powering the black screen and switching through channels, finding what he wanted and leaving it to play.
After dusting the large apartment, dust to shine, Lion grabbed the broom and began sweeping around the floors, moving the large furniture and making sure everything was squeaky clean for Elijah. He then washed the ground, and finally, his stomach began to growl; small cramps interfered with his last moping stroke. Lion groaned, rubbing his covered belly and putting away the cleaning supplies. Lion remembered the mac and cheese from the previous night, rushing towards the refrigerator and microwaving the food. He didn't know if eating would be good. He didn't want to be selfish. Maybe Elijah wanted to eat this when he came home later or even bring it for his lunch tomorrow. Lion fought with himself, finally coming to a decision. He would make more if Elijah were hungry. Lion sat at the kitchen island once more, spooning the food into his mouth. The fondness of the warm food sending a nourishing feeling throughout his body, although having the same smell pass under his nose from the boxed cupcake.
Lion finished up his bowl and washed his dirty dishes, putting them away before sidestepping wet spots on the ground. He made his way through the living room before entering Elijah's room and beginning to place things back in order, sighing at how messy Elijah could be. Lion picked up a few pens off the dresser opening the drawer, freezing in place.
His eyes ran over what seemed to be a dark blue handle, leading to a large round end, a vibrator. Did he have a girlfriend? Was Lion sleeping with a taken man? Lion also noticed some lube, his hand reacting on its own as he picked up the bottle, placing both of the objects on the top of the dresser. Lion was going to question this man, but he wasn't going to go easy on him. Lion halted, fearing he'd had been interfering with something Elijah never spoke to him about. Lion continued placing the pens in the drawer, closing it, and rushing out of the room. His cleaning was complete.
