"U-Umm, nice to meet you?" I replied bloody-mindedly, extending my arm out to shake Iris's hand. Iris had beautiful straight, light blonde hair that reached her tailbone. And she had almost the same peircing sky blue eyes that Atlas owned, but somehow, they were darker. "As she said, her name's Iris. And she's my older sister." Atlas shuffled his feet uncomfortably, retrieving my hand from hers in an almost awkward fashion. Iris stepped back, smiling brightly. "Does she know about Vapour?" I asked quietly keeping a soft eye on her. "Well, yeah. Obviously." Atlas chuckled, rolling his eyes. The dog hopped down from the couch, making it's way over towards us like a bubbly little puppy. The dog stopped at the feet of Iris, and sat, wagging it's tail. "That's Rose." Atlas nodded to the dog, thrusting his hands back into his pocket. I crouched down, letting Rose come over to me. She kept on wagging her tail, and her mouth opened up into a sort of smile. I rubbed behind Rose's ears, Rose now closing her eyes and leaning heavily against my hand. Then something unexpected happened. "Mhm~ You've just got the right spot!" she said, me jumping back in surprise. I could her Atlas's low chuckle from behind me. "And that's Sanity." he said, still smiling and chuckling softly. "Uhh, nice to meet you too." I murmured, smiling back at Sanity. "Rose is the dog's name." Sanity started, continuing; "And unlike Iris, Rose has me!" she finished, scrunching her eyes and smiling. "Huh." I chuckled, standing up now and looking at Iris. Iris sighed, grinning slightly before the smirk faded slowly, only a hint of it left to be shown. "I used to have a companion... Sanity's twin sister. And well, her name was Mania." Iris, walked over towards the wall, leaning on it and looking at me. "Mania was a tough nut to crack, and always went for unsafe options whenever doing something." Iris chuckled, pausing for a few moments. "Then, Mania decided to do something really stupid... Like, really stupid." Iris looked at the floor, now shoving her hands into her track pants. She sighed, looking up at me with a sad grin on her face. "And whilst in her mist form, she ran out, into the sun during daylight." she added shakily. I let my mouth drop a centimeter for a split second, then closed it as Iris faced me. "And well, Mania bursted into flames." she sighed, shrugging slowly. She looked up at the ceiling now, grinning with a sombre expression. She looked down at me, and finished; "That's why I don't have a mist form anymore... Because Mania killed herself. And just like that, my 'imprisonment' was relieved, it just vanished." We stayed silent for a few more seconds before Atlas murmured, "Iris can live forever, like me, but other than that, she's now all just human." then he started to chuckle; "Though don't underestimate her. She can be very scary." Atlas smiled, looking up at Iris. Iris smirked back somewhat proudly. "So you keep the house in order then, eh?" I rhetorically asked, putting a hand on my hip and grinning. Iris smirked back, shrugging. I giggled softly for a few moments, Atlas following along with it too with his more sultry chuckle. I then stopped and looked up at Iris and Sanity, raising an eyebrow. "How come you're trusting me? Like, why haven't you gotten suspicious about me or Atlas?" I asked, furrowing my brow. Iris blazed into laughter, just making me slightly more confused. "Sweetie, Atlas has never brought anyone home, other than himself! You've got to know that you're lucky." she retorted, still chuckling in between. "Besides, Sanity told me that a she felt a particular aura, and smelt a sweet, intoxicating scent. Apparently you're 'irresistible'." then I bursted into laughter, and looked back at the red-faced Atlas. It was now Iris's and Sanity's turn to raise an eyebrow. I looked back, chuckling; "I made a joke on the way here about me being irresistible since Atlas only left ten minutes ago before picking me up again." I'd snort, resting a hand on my hip. Iris grinned at Atlas, making him frown in return. Yep, definitely siblings. I thought, smirking. "Well, do you two want some, uhh, alone time?" Iris questioned, a grin still appearing to be on her face. I stopped, turning dead still. I felt my cheeks burning up, and so I cursed under my breath. "That would be wonderful, thank you~" Atlas purred, holding me against his chest and curling his hands over onto the front of my waist. I gulped, pouting. "Well I'll take her on a walk." Iris said, nodding over to Rose- or Sanity... I couldn't tell. Atlas leaned down, and murmured into my ear; "As long as I'm under the same roof as Sanity, she can read my mind, or look through my eyes. And... So can I." Atlas grinned, quickly kissing the corner of my neck and shoulder, then raising his head up.
