Effie was sent home by my mother by the time I came back... And my mum wasn't impressed. "Sweetie, I love how you hang out with that nice gentleman and his sister," she started, sighing. "But you left poor Effie over here by herself! Of course I was going to send her home!" she then exclaimed, crossing her arms. I nodded, looking to the floor. "Do you have any homework? Other than daydreaming about young Atlas?" my mother furrowed her brows,a small grin barely appearing. I rolled my eyes. Shit, I forgot about homework. I grit my teeth, answering with a; "Yes mum, I do have homework." I mumbled, looking away and crossing my arms. My mother glared at me. "Then go already! Geez Aaly!" she hurried me off, whacking her towel side-to-side in front of her. Jogged up the stairs, heading towards my room. I walked in, then closed the door softly. I turned around, my face bumping into Atlas. I looked up startled, then glared. "Why are you here?" I pouted, crossing my arms and raising an eyebrow. "Well, I'm here to be with you!" he smiled, rubbing his hand through his hand in a sort of charming matter. Then I had an idea. "Oh great! I need you to do something." smiled, folding my arms in front of me and rocking back and forth on my heels. "Anything." He replied, smiling and nodding. "So you'll do my homework for me then?" I exclaimed, smirking smally. The corners of his mouth tilted down into a frown, Atlas now furrowing his brows. "I mean, besides, it's not like you haven't done this before~" I pressed, nudging into him. He sighed, chuckling in an annoyed-like manner. He punched me softly in the biceps, pressing the side of his head against mine. "Why? What are you going to do?" he asked, turning around to face me as I was walking away towards my window. "I'm going to Effie's I need to clear some stuff up for her."

After Atlas had finally agreed to do my homework, I headed out the window, letting Toxin take control of her form once more. We slid out the window, speedily heading across and through the bushland. We passed gumtrees so swiftly, flowing against it in our liquidy-like form. I was surprised that we left nothing behind, not even making the areas we were on all wet, or at least damp. And I couldn't even hear the dry ground beneath me crunch and crumble. It was only then I saw it. "Toxin, to your right." I hissed, Toxin now shifting her gaze. The figure didn't move, but it stared right in our direction. The figure was like us... Liquidy, not a mist. Could it be?... We heard the crumble of a few dry leaves somewhere ahead of us. The creature turned towards the noise, a snarling grin spreading rapidly across his face. "TOXIN! WE NEED TO GET TO THE PERSON BEFORE THEY DO!" I cried out in our connected minds. Way ahead of you! Toxin shouted, spreading forward quickly, grappling onto passing trees and pulling us even more forward. Across the small, open area, surrounded by bushland was familiar, frizzy black curls of hair. I snapped into control, moving forward with speeds I didn't even know I could conduct. The figure to our right was moving fast as well, almost catching up to me with ease. I spread myself in front of Effie, shielding her and roaring back at the other liquidy figure. It stopped, and began grinning back at us three again. We stayed like this for a few seconds more, until the creature broke back, striking past the trees and moving above on top of them. He was faster then I when doing this, showing me what they were completely capable of. I shuddered, and turned, a blotchy-eyed Effie gazing back at me with a horrified expression across her face. "A-Aaly...?" she stuttered quietly, stepping back. I quickly transformed back in front of her, running into her heavily and hugging her tightly. She sobbed against me, gripping my shirt and pulling me tighter against her. "Shh, shh..." I rubbed her head, trying to sooth her down. And eventually, with time, it worked. After a minute or two, we stepped back away from each other. "What are you doing out here?!" I suddenly blurted out, startled and frustrated. "I was looking... For Dwayne." she replied silently, looking down and rubbing her arm. I sighed, and pulled her in for another hug. "Well, I was coming to you about our theories... And I guess Sanity was right. T is another one of us for sure." I exclaimed, growling. Aaly... I recognised that aura... He's too powerful, Aaly. Toxin whispered gently. I closed my eye, shuddering. And I'm sure Dwayne's been taken... Aaly, Effie needs him, and he needs her if he wants to truly stay as he was. Toxin continued, hissing; She needs him... now.
