Miabelle's POV

"How about this?" I held up a dress that was a pinkish color

"Nahh.."  Holly said looking for another dress

"How about this then?" This time, I held a dark red dress,  a bit simpler but i still liked it

"Ahhh!! Miaa! IT'S FRIGGIN PERFECT! Alan would so swoon over you. ahah"

"You think so?"

"Absolutely! Now, c'mon! See if it fits you!"  she said pushing me into a fittting room stall

"Alright! Alright! It seems like you're more excited for this date than I am." I shook my head smiling

It took me a while to get the dress on 'cause I cant reach the zipper. I decided to just leave it, since im only fitting this dress. When I came out of the stall, Holly got so excited it seemed like the whole store was looking at her,nonetheless, she was very helpful in all this. So I decided to get the dress, along with a few accessories. 

"Hey Mia!" she pulled over our driveway

"Huh?"

"Good luck on your date! Wink wink! ahaha"

"Thanks!"

"Make sure you wear matching underwear in case... Ahaha!"

"Holly?!" My eyes widened, surprised at her words

"Im joking, of course.. but you should've seen your face.. hahah!"

"Yeah yeah, whataver.. Byee"

"Byee"

.....

There. I finally finished my makeup, it took me a few tries since I don't usually wear makeup. Now all I need to do is put on my dress, but I can't seem to reach the zipper.. Urghh.. aghh.. No use

"Miaa!" Alan called from the living room "Are you done yet?"

"In a bit! Could you help me please?"

"Okay coming"

As the door opened, I heard him gasp..

"Could you zip me up please?" I turned my back at him..

"S-sure.. You look amazing, Mia." he smiled and I can't help but blush

"Thanks!"

"Shall we go then?"

"Yup!"

Alan took me to this really fancy restaurant. And I can tell from just looking at its exterior design that it's very expensive.

"Alan, you didn't have to take me to such an expensive restaurant. I'm fine with a movie date actually."

"Oh, but the best girl deserves the best stuff, don't you think?"

"Well..."

Just then a waiter came to our table and served us our drinks..

"but we haven't even ordered yet.."

"Don't worry about it, Mia. I already did. I already know what you liked, it's a pretty simple dish but they make it the best here.."

"Oh, alright." I smiled brightly

Not long after, our food was served. The food served to me was lasagna with a side order of soup. I don't know what kind of soup it was though.

"I hope you'll like it. Dig in!" Alan said excitedly

I took the first bite of the lasagna and Alan was right, it was the best friggin lasagna ever! I could eat it all day. The date was pretty much like any other date. We talked about the most random things and we would often crack jokes to each other. It was fun, that is, until my ex (Connor) walked in.

"Miaa! Long time no see! Is this him? HAHA! You replaced me for him?! Dumbest idea ever if you ask me!"

"Well, nobody asked you so leave us alone. Ugh!" I rolled my eyes

"What did you say, b****?!" he suddenly pulled my hair so i fell down

Alan immediately stood up and proceeded to attack Connor, but Connor saw it coming and he pushed Alan with so much force that he fell and crashed the table behind him.

"Connor! Leave us alone! Can't you see we're having a decent date?! Unlike any of the dates we've had before."

"Ohh, that's it!" He grabbed the nearest dish to him and he threw it at my face.

It turned out to be the soup and it was burning hot. So I was there, lying on the floor with my hands on my face, screaming in pain. 

"Serves you right!"  he said

I prepared for something else he might do, possibly kick me or pull my hair again, but nothing came. Instead, what I heard was a loud thud then someone helped me get on my feet and walked out of the restaurant. As I expected it was Alan, and he had a few cuts on his face, probably from the glass from when he fell awhile ago. 

"Oh, Alan!" I wiped the blood dripping from his forehead "I'm so sorry! This is all my fault! Everything's ruined and..and..I-Im soo sorry. Im-"

"Shhh" Alan held my face, and wiped my tears.. "It's alright. All that matters is that you're okay." he smiled which made me smile too

"B-but you're not."

"I am! As long as I'm with you, I'm fine. I promise. Now stop crying okay? Everything will be alright."

"Okay.." I smiled

We went to a nearby park so that we could clean our faces.. After that, we just sat there in silence. None of us knew how to break it, probably because we were still in shock of what happened. I decided that I'll be the one to break it.

"Alan?"

"Yeah?"

"Im sorry. I didn't mean for any of this to happen.. I-"

"I told you, it's fine don't worry about it."

"Yeah, but i still feel guilty and-"

Out of nowhere, he leaned closer and kissed me. It was a short kiss but everything was still there..

"That enough proof for you?"

I nodded smiling brightly.

"Good! Now let's go home. It's already late."

"Okay. I love you, Alan."

"I love you too." he said kissing my forehead.
