Melody's POV

Uggghhhh!! This is so frustrating!! I've been on this table for hours and I'm no even half-way my report..

It's like 11:00 pm already.. Luke was asleep hours ago and he's snoring a bit.. I find it cute actually..

"Why can't I get this right?!! Ughhhh!!" I slam my fists on the table and ran my fingers through my hair.

I heard Luke groan and shift through the sheets.. Opps.. I forgot we were on the same room..

"Is everything alright, hun?"

"Uhhh.. yeah.. Sorry for disturbing you.. I'm just really tired and frustrated!"

"Then sleep, Mel.. You need it.. It's like..." 

"11:00 pm"

"..11 pm.. Please sleep.. Cuddle with me?" he said patting the space beside him

"Sorry Luke, I'd love to, but I can't!!"

"Why not?"  he pouted

"because...." I said gesturing to my paper works..

"Awww, C'mon" he said standing up "You need rest and I need you.." he slid his arms around my neck and kisses my cheek lightly.. 

"Please?"

Damn those puppy eyes.. How could I say no?

"Fine, fine"

 

We spent a lot of time just cuddling and snuggling and just talking.. I fell asleep minutes later to him stroking my hair and him singing to me....

*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*

"Uggghhhh.... What time is it, Luke?" I pat the space next to me, just to find out it was empty..

"Luke? Luke, where are you, baby?"

The door slowly opened.

"Hey, babe! Good morning!"

"Good morning!"

I glanced at the clock and it was already 7:00 AM and I still haven't finished writing my report..

"Luke!! Why didn't you wake me?! I haven't finished my report yet!! Ugghhh why?!"

"Why is it so important anyways?" he sat down beside me

"Because it covers a big part of my grade!"

"And why does that matter?"

"So I can get a good job and finally buy and do things on my own!"

"You know I could buy all the things you want right? It wont bother me at all.."

"yes, but it bothers me.. I don't want to take advantage of you. I dont want you for your fame and fortune, but I want you because you're you. And I want to prove that I can do this on my own."

"Oh.. I understand.."

"Ugh! Why am I like this?! Maybe I should've just set an earlier  alarm.. or... or... finished the damn report in the first place..or...or...-"

"Hey!"

"What?"

"I have a surprise for you!"

"What is it Hemmings? Can't you see I'm freaiking the f**k out?!"

"Yeah, I know.. That's why I did this.." he handed me my report...and it's complete..

"L-luke...I-I... I don't know what to say.... Thank you! Thankyouthankyouthankyou!!!"  I jumped into his arms and he caught me

"It was no trouble, Mel! I love you!"

"I love you more!"

"I highly doubt that!"

"Yeah?"

"Yeah!"

"Can you prove it?"

"Of course!"

He cupped my face and kissed it.. Just... WOW..

"Guess you can."

"I told you" he said smiling "Now, get ready or you'll be late for school.."

"Okay :).. You're the best boyfriend, you know that?"

"But I wouldn't be without you"
