The Triple B - Part 6 : Date?

I quickly ran down the stair to greet my cute suitor, when someone practically tackled me into the couch. What the heck? Do I look like I want to have a broken neck? No, I don't.

"Owwwie! What was that for person who just tackled me?" I asked seeing as I had no idea who the heck would be dumb enough to try to paralyze me.

"Oopsie, sowwy Scarlett." My eyes opened shocked.

He was home! Holy crap!

"Spencer! You're home, this is crazy! I thought you were staying in New York!" I said thoroughly shocked, and he didn't even call, the nerve.

"Sorry Scar, I told your brother, he said he would tell you, guess it slipped his mind?" He asked grinning mischievously

I scowled, "You're lying, you big liar."

"He grinned but didn't say anything, then I remembered poor Bentley standing outside waiting for me. I quickly got up and opened the door.

"Oh my gosh I'm sorry, this idiot tackeled me as I was coming to open the door! You'd think he wanted to paralyze me." I said exasperated.

"Hey!" I heard Spencer protest from behind me. I waved him off though.

"Anyways, lets go Bent, Spence! Tell Sam I left ok?" I asked questioningly.

"Yeah no problem, have fun Scar."

"Thanks." I said offhand then shut the door and walked with Bentley.

"So why did he try to paralyze you?" Bentley asked laughing.

I smiled, "Well aside from being really stupid, he just got home, and I guess wanted a hug?"

Bentley laughed and so did I, Spencer was definitely a weird kid. He had gone to New York with his parents when his brother died, they had decided they wanted a new start, but I guess they were back? Spencer was sort of my brothers friend, but more really mine. He was a year older than Sam so he must be a senior. Even if my brother was a senior too, I guess he could have been held back, I never really asked, it wasn't any of my business.

Bentley took me to this really cute restaurant, and he was really sweet, and he made me laugh, but I didn't feel a spark. This is so wrong, because the perfect guy and he were really cute as well.

I just don't understand.

Erggg.

Bentley was dropping me off now, and he looked me in the eye and leaned down.

This was it, the kiss, if it felt a spark I would date him, if not, well I think we should just be friends.

He kissed me, and I felt nothing. Absolutely nothing.

I looked at him and sighed, and he had the exact same look.

"Scarlett I have to tell you something, I went out with you tonight to see if I was gay. And judging from that kiss I am." He laughed and I was shocked, and a little angry.

"No, not like that! I just figured that if I went out with a gorgeous girl and felt nothing, then I must be." He said smiling sadly.

I grinned at the compliment. "Well, I would be mad, but that was really nice so you're forgiven. I still had a great time though Bent, we should hang out more often ok? You're hilarious." I said smiling.

He grinned, "Ok Scar, that sounds great, I'll text ya ok?"

"I smiled and waved, "You better!" Then I walked up the driveway and into the house.
