Failed Sneak Attack

The group decided to camp away from the cliffs to avoid a possible ambush.
They would propose to set up camp above the cliff but the caravan had too much resources with them to carry up. Team 7 were instructed to find firewood. Team 8 were searching for a water source and found a small stream which lead to a pond that wasn't far from the camp. After team 7 returns. It's time to decide who should do first watch.

Kurenai: Well Kakashi, should my Genin or yours do first watch?

Kakashi: Why not mix em up? They're eventually have to do missions with others anyway, especially when they get promoted. May as well learn to work with people outside our squad.

Kurenai: True. So how about Hinata, Naruto, and Shino?

Kakashi: Sounds good to me. Is that okay with you 3? * Turns and look at the Genins in question*

Naruto: I'm okay with it if they are.

Hinata: I- I'm okay with it.

Shino: No complaints from me.

Kurenai: Than its settle.

While Hinata, Naruto, and Shino take first watch. Kiva, Sakura, and Sasuke decided to rest while the can. Sakura was hoping she be paired with Naruto to talk with him. But she will have to wait. Some of the merchants decided to sleep near the area where Kakashi was currently. While kurenai decided to take a sip of her tea she brought with her in a small gourd while watching her surroundings. Naruto decided to make small talk with Shino and Hinata while but there backs were facing each other since they are the lookout.

Naruto: So you guys happy being Ninja's?

Hinata: W-well, I am. I mean a shinobi life can get complicated instantly. But that comes with the t-territory.

Naruto: What about you Shino? I know I rarely even talk to you but it was because I wasn't sure how to start a conversation with you.

Shino: Similar to what Hinata said, it's the type of life style I expected since my dad. Home school me in areas the academy don't tell. And good to know you do noticed me. Everyone else seems to just ignore me.

Naruto: Honestly I assumed you just wanted be alone just like Sasuke does  and Shikamru does too sometimes.

Shino: No, that's just my personality.
Don't me to appear antisocial.

Naruto: No problem. We're definitely hanging out more. Plus,your coat covers part of your face is kinda cool actually.

Even though they weren't facing each other. Shino was surprise Naruto offer to hang out with him and call him cool.

Naruto: Hey Hinata, does your clan Taijutsu have some type of disabling technique?

Hinata: I-I'm not sure what you mean...

Naruto: a few days ago, me and Sasuke had a spar against Ten-Ten and Neji. I noticed when Neji struck Sasuke on his chest and arm area, I thought Sasuke had some broken bones but he was able to move shortly  and he didn't go to the hospita so i guessing it was too serious.

Hinata: Ano, well our gentle fist style do focus on disabling an opponent and is capable of killing. Combine with the byakugan, we're able to close and seal off chakra points. If Sasuke was moving like you said Neji-neesan could had done that.

Naruto: But his byakugan thingy wasn't activated.

Hinata: Well we Hyuga can deactivate a person chakra point without the byakugan, but it won't be as accurate. Plus Neji-neesan most likely was holding back. If he was serious Sasuke shouldn't been able to move. I didn't know you knew Neesan?
