Something's never change

After Naruto and Sasuke chat during night watch, they switched out with Kakashi and Kurenai. As the sun was rising, the group pack up and started to head out again. Naruto got bored and decided to race Kiba and Akamaru. Akamaru won while Naruto came in second and Kiba last. Naruto used a underhanded trick to distract Kiba causing him to crash into a thorn bush.

Kiba: Dammit Naruto that was a dirty trick!!!!

Naruto: Hey all I said was hey who's that hottie over there and you got all googling eyes at crash. You always talk about alpha, this and alpha that, I thought you would have been more focused...

Akamaru: Arff Arff Arff Arff( Kiba, Your mother told you about getting distracted)

Kiba: Akamaru you better not tell my mother about this!!!!

Naruto: Oh come on Kiba, it can't be that bad....

Kiba: easy for you to say, my mother is an omega who can still kick ass.

Naruto: You just called your mother, Lady Tsume an omega....  I'M GOING TELLLLLLL!!!! I'M GOING TO TELLLLLLL!!! * in his prankster teasing voice*.

Kiba: * Scared as shit* W-Wait Naruto I meant my mom was an alpha!!!! It just came out wrong.

Kurenai: Kiba you may want to start digging your grave.

Kakashi: And get a tombstone while your at it. Tsume temper is similar to a certain Sannin I know.

Somewhere at a random gambling spot

?????: ACHOOOO!!!!

Tsunade: I'm fine Shizune, someone is talking about me.

Back with Teams 7 & 8

Hinata: ( Naruto could had won but he got some type of seal on his gauntlets and shin guards. That may have something to do with it ).

Kurenai: Well because of that race you three had, we're actually a few hours away from the village.

Naruto: Great!!!! Can't wait to try this new veggie ramen recipe I came up with...

Team 7/Kiba: *Staring at Naruto in confusion*

Naruto: What???

Kakashi: Naruto when in the world did you start eating vegetables? I mean yeah it's ramen but still a vegetable ramen?

Naruto: oh I started eating that for a couple of days now before we started the mission.

Sasuke: ( first he has a weapon, then he learned a new Taijutsu style, now he's eating healthier? It's official he's being 100% serious about his training. I wonder what other tricks he has up his sleeve? One thing is for sure I can't slack off .)

Sakura:. (most of the time  he only talks about pork ramen. Now he's talking about vegetables? What in the world happened to him recently?)

Dark Rose: (it's called improvement, you should try it. CHA!!!...)

Sakura: ( I hate you....).

Hinata is just observing Naruto and is feeling ashamed of herself.

Hinata: (With every obstacle  that gets in his way, he always keep pushing forward. yet look at me, I'm not doing anything about my situation in my own clan. how can I be like him?)

Naruto: *stares at Hinata*( I wonder what's she's thinking about?).  *Looks over at Shino* Hey Shino, are there any other members of your clan around your age? Just wondering.
