Science has had a direct impact on the routines and choices of my daily life.
Without science I would not be able to use my electric stove, charge anything I own or communicate with family and friends long distance within seconds. Scientific discoveries and especially improvements have made communication easier, and devices more portable.
Along with cell phones and electronics, being able to see my bank account virtually, and sign documents without even using a pen has been extremely helpful, especially when times it's hard to get to a bank or stores are closed. When it comes to food, it's very interesting to see how quickly something can mold, or what bacteria can grow on certain things.
I would say technology and food are the two things that I've been extra attentive to lately as far as daily impacting my life. Other things like the functionality of my car, everything that goes into play in order for the engine, oil and other parts to work together are quite interesting and amazing when I take a moment to think about it. And all of these things I am very grateful for.
