Karina chased after the male, through the hallway as people stared at them in amusement.
Hellboy quickly flung himself into the dinning hall where everyone who was waiting, saw a fully grown man, taller than most of the males combined in that room, hide behind his pregnant wife.
"What are you doing?" Nuada asked.
"Look man, you gotta keep that wife of yours on a leash!". Replied HB.
"There you are!!" Yelled a voice. Everyone turned to see a pouting Karina stumping her way towards Hellboy. "You can not just run away from the training room like that! We need to practice because you are still unable to beat me on your own, even cause your heavy spine keeps getting freezed up!"
"And that is exactly a good reason to run away!"
Karina glared at him.
"Look Karina..". The male now stood at his full height and came out from his 'hiding spot'. "...At the moment I do not see you as a threat, therefore I am kind of holding back. Meaning, I can't exactly fight you for real without fearing of hurting you since you aren't a threat. Now maybe if you were a bad person, or maybe you got brain washed to become a bad person, then, I can fight you without no problem at all." Hellboy explained.
There was silence for a while before Karina spoke.
"Are you calling me weak?"
"What?! No! You're one of the strongest people amongst us!"
"Mhm. Sure."
"I am serious!"
"Oh I know you are. Now let's go over this again Hellboy."
The man groaned like a child who was about to participate in the most boring lesson of his life.
Karina cleared her throat before speaking once again.
Liz was setting the food on the table while Nuala assisted her; the both trying not to laugh. Abe was helping as well, but simply shook his head in amusement, for it was not the first time they were about to hear the Karina's lecture.
Nuada on the other hand, had a large grin on his face, proud that his future fiancee always made sure to put people in check.
"Who was the one that saved fifteen people from a plane crash?" The female asked while tapping her foot, portraying the look of a mother waiting impatiently for her child to come up with a good answer.
"It was you Miss Karina."
"Good. Who was the one that defeated the enemy including their strong leader taking all the impact not only from the plane but also from her attackers?"
"You Miss Karina."
"Precisely. Who was the one that walked kilometres to get help despite all her severe injuries?"
"You Miss Karina. "
"Now do you think a mere punch will be enough to take me down.''
''No Miss Karina.''
''Perfect.'' She said with a triumphant smile on her face.
''Alright Miss Ice Queen, leave my poor boy alone.'' Liz playfully said as she held unto Karina's shoulders to make her sit next to her and Nuala.
Both Nuada and Hellboy frowned since they could not be near their lovers.
Either way, the men decided to ignore it but soon the elfen prince spoke.
''So you mean to tell me that a female of five foot, beat you countless times during a simple practice?''
