Chapter 2

"She's a girl," replies Hayes making a face like he just sucked on a lemon.
"I know. I brought her over so that you guys can play with her," responds Elizabeth.
"Well I can't because I have football practice," says Will
*runs upstairs*
"I can't because I have to clean my room," says Nash.
*runs upstairs*
"I can't because ummm... I broke my leg. See?" Responds Hayes as he falls on the ground. I laugh.
"Nevermind. She laughed so I can play."
Hayes holds my hand as we walk to the fence. He sits and pats the seat next to him did me to sit down.
"My name is Hayes."
"My name is Maddie."
"I like the color Blue."
"I like the color sparkles."
"Is sparkles a color?"
"If your a girl it is."
"Oh."
"Your funny."
"Your funny too."
"Wanna be my boyfriend?"
"Sure. And you can be my girlfriend."
He gives me an awkward kiss on the cheek. I scrunch up my face.
"So. If your going to be my boyfriend you have to play princess with me."
"And if you want to be my girlfriend then you have to race 4 wheelers with me."
"Deal."
Hayes looks at me and grabs his face. I'm guessing that he forgot something.
"My mom's calling me for dinner! We have to go into my slide and kiss!"
"That's horrible! Let's go!"
We climb up the yellow slide and sit at the top. We give eachother awkward kisses until he has to go inside.
"By Maddie!" Yells Hayes as he runs inside.
"By Hayes!" I yell back as I run back into my house to tell my Pinky bear all about how Hayes kissed me.
