The day I have my 2 month appointment where I get to find out what it is. We are so excited! We can't wait!
Now it's time for the doctor's appointment!
*skip boring car ride*
*at the doctor's*
The nurse calls my name. I go into the room and sit on the cot. Hayes sits next to me in a plastic chair. He holds my hand and rubs his thumb over it. I can tell that he is a little tense. The nurse comes over and rubs really cold gel on my stomach. I flinch. Hayes looks at me with sadness in his eyes.
"Are you Okay? Does it hurt?" Hayes asks after he squeezes my hand.
"Ya. It's just cold."
She waves a sensor/radar type thing around my stomach. A picture pops up on the screen in front.
"I'll be right back," says Dr. Fern.
Hayes and I exchange a look.
He smiles at me.
"What do you think it is?" He asks.
"I think it's a little boy," I reply.
"I think it's a girl," he responds.
The nurse came in with a big smile across her face.
"Your new baby is..."
