CHAPTER X
Max and Milton struggle to keep up with Jerry whose pace has suddenly aggravated in anger and speed.
I'm busily lagging behind from the fact that I have the weight of Bryan on my shoulders, but that's no excuse cause Max and Milton seem to be moving faster than me while they are both carrying absolutely nothing
Jerry sooner halts movements and we take refuge under a deformed building.
"use your technique" Jerry orders.
Our technique involves breathing, not total concentration kinda like the opposite actually.
It involves breathing in so fast we that we can cloak ourselves from the robots making it harder to track us.
This technique is achieved by inhaling so fast that we stop our hearts and take oxygen away from it but also renewing it every split second to avoid us killing ourselves, but we do it long enough to do the trick.
But! There's a downside, it feels like there always is, the downside to this technique is that once you release yourself from this technique and you take in much you will faint for about 6 hours
The robots soon approach, and we start breathing as fast as we can and seems like the robots have spotted us when their footsteps become louder.
The sound of footsteps seems distant now.
"still hold your breath" Jerry others.
How is he even able to talk without fainting? We keep holding our breaths for as long as we can waiting for Jerry to give the command.
"Release!"
Milton is the first to go down after releasing his breath shortly after Max follows and I try to support them from receiving a fatal hit to the ground having also released my breath I still try to keep up with Jerry.
Everything is a competition.
I feel myself slowly fading away and my visions are becoming blurry and I see myself falling to the ground looking at Jerry who doesn't seem to be showing any sign of weakness and low supply of breath.
Jerry might be good at endurance, but he will fall eventually Robler or not.

Finally, I am awake from the repercussions of the technique and I see the rest of the gang up and at it including Bryan all surrounding a fire in the middle of a huge forest.
I'm so confused I felt I was hallucinating at first.
"ugh guys what's going on, where's the city, why are we in a forest?"
"Cooking dinner, there is no city and we are here to hide and survive" Milton gives a very detailed answer but with a very serious face on.
"we will reunite with the rest of the crew when it's safe" Max expresses his hope.
Jerry just sits and stares, I am starting to wonder who is more of a logician between him and the brothers.
"Everyone shut up," Jerry says and startles all of us, but we stay quiet.
We all become worried cause we know something is wrong.
"loose the lights and put off the fire"
All of us begin to switch off our night cleanser and Bryan blows a heavy breeze on the fire which puts it outs.
