Seiji felt honored that TK invited him to go and see Matt's concert with him, especially after hiding two Gotsumon in his room after the breakout. He agreed with TK, the Emperor was planing something, but at least the Gotsumon were free. Though those black towers were ominous, Kudamon said as much when he noticed them too. TK initially was going to the concert to ask his brother for help in hiding the Gotsumon.

His brother and June were going to be so jealous when they find out he got to go backstage and actually meet Matt. Matt was a cool dude, really. Both him and his brother loved the music Matt's band made. Seiji might have gotten a bit excited when he realized that since he's a Digidestined now, he could actually meet Matt in person. When TK found out he was a fan, he was listening to one of the songs during lunch, he invited him to come with him. Seiji could definitely hear June in the crowd.

Later, when the concert was over, Seiji was letting Matt and TK have the time to have a brother to brother talk. They lived in separate homes and TK just moved back to the Odaiba area not too long ago. It must've been their first brother to brother talk in a while. Seiji couldn't imagine having to grow up separated from his brother. Speaking of his brother...

"Seiji! I thought I saw you in the crowd!" Jin came over and put Seiji in a head lock, giving him a playful noogie. Good thing Kudomon was napping in his duffel bag with Patamon.

"I thought I could hear June. So you did decide to come with her to the concert after all." Seiji laughed as his brother released him from his hold.

"So how did you manage to get tickets anyways?" Jin asked him.

"Seiji hey!" TK ran over. "I thought you wanted to meet my brother? Who's this?"

"My brother." Seiji smiled.

"Jin Park, nice to meet you. You must be the new kid Seiji told me about."

"You talked to your brother about me?" TK asked.

"I talk to my brother about everything." Seiji shrugged before he adding "Well almost everything."

"What do you mean almost everything? Are you hiding something from me?" Jin asked.

"Jin there you are! Oh and Seiji too!" It was June, Davis' older sister.

"Hey TK, Seiji, something wrong?" Matt asked, as approached the group.

"Ohh it's Matt! Can I have your autograph?" June asked. "Seiji you never said you knew the Yamato Ishida!" As Matt signed June's 'cute boy's signatures' shirt.

"That's because we just met." Seiji said.

"So what's your name?" Matt asked, needing to know who he was making it out to.

"Oh just make it out to June Motomiya!" She said.

"Motomiya? Does that mean your Davis' sister?" TK asked.

"Yeah that's right, he's my little brother." June confirmed. "Who are you?"

"June, this is TK, Matt's brother and one of my new friends." Seiji smiled.

"It's nice to meet you June, I'm in the same class as Davis and Seiji." TK explained.

"Will you sign my shirt too? I get all the cute boys to sign it." June handed him the marker and TK complied.

"Hey Seiji, is that your signature?" TK asked.

"Yeah, she got it last year after all the pestering, she's even got me to sign it too!" Jin grinned.

"Hey TK, there's some kind of trouble." Matt said. A red alert flashing on his digivice.

"I just got an email from Yolei, said it's an emergency and to head back to school." TK said.

"Yeah I got one too." Seiji said.

"I hope Gabumon's okay." Matt said, before the three of them left, leaving behind two dumbfounded teens, Jin and June.

Getting to the school, Yolei rushied to get the gate up, with Davis urging her to go faster. Soon it was up and they went through, Yolei having stayed behind because she had lent her digivice to Izzy to do some tests. Once through, Matt immediately took notice of his partner passed out on the ground.

"Gabumon!" Matt called out.

Gabumon stirred and pulled himself together at hearing his partner. "Oh Matt." Matt moved forward to check his partner's condition.

"Gabumon, are you okay?" He asked frantically.

"Let's just say I'll never look at steamed vegtebles the same way again." Gabumon remarked, pulling himself to his feet.

"Alright, I need you to tell me everything that happened." Matt told him.

"Good, we never talk anymore." Gabumon said.

Gabumon told Matt what happened, while Yolei told everyone that she was going to go get her Digivice back from Izzy. Gatomon then questioned why the antennas in tvs were called bunny ears instead of cat ears. Cats, after all, sleep on top of tvs, not bunnies.

"It's a small village called Santa Carilla (pronounced Cariya)." Gabumon explained. "It was a quiet village where everyone minded their own business and then the Digimon Emperor came along. "

"It's another of those things that scared the Gatsumon." Gatomon pointed out the tall dark tower.

"The Emperor calls them Control Spires." Gabumon informed them.

"Lets go!" Davis decided.

"Wait you can't just rush in there." Matt stopped him. "He might be waiting in there for us and this whole thing might be an ambush."

"Yeah that Gotsumon prison break out might have just been a ploy to lower our guards." Seiji agreed with Matt.

"We can just armor Digivole and just blow them apart." Davis said.

"It's not that simple." TK interjected. "He could be using some of the digimon as hostages. He could use them as a shield to protect himself."

"TK is right, we have to rescue the hostages and make sure they don't get hurt." Kari said. Davis growled, she was right and the Emperor was that low.

"The hostages are being guarded by the Veggiemon, watch out for digisludge!" Patamon warned. Seiji inadvertedly shivered. Digisludge was the equivalent of poop and it was digusting really, to the point that it'd tricked Izzy into a trap.

"Patamon, tell us everything you know about Redveggiemon." Matt asked him.

"Okay." Patamon agreed.

Davis was a bit ticked off. He suggested to doing things their own way, to which Cody said that they should stick together. He didn't know why he was this angry, it was bugging him. Veemon was slowing noticing how unhappy Davis was. Before Davis knew it, the group was walking away.

"Davis, come on!" Seiji yelled for him.

"Wait up!' Davis ran up to Seiji. "What about the digisludge?"

"It's uh, not really something dangerous, more so it's something disgusting." Kudamon told him. Davis grumbled something about TK, except he called him TA.

"TA?" TK had heard and questioned it.

"He forgot how to spell TK." Cody said and Kari, TK and Cody laughed. Seiji frowned, noticing Davis had gone red and turned away from them in a huff. He gave the three of them a signal to cut it out. Something was going on with Davis and he wasn't sure what it was.

He hoped it could get sorted out and soon. Davis was always better when he was smiling.
