All Kinds of Trouble

Seiji showed up to school feeling tired. He was wearing different clothes from yesterday. Now wearing a gray, short sleeved button up, unbuttoned with a white shirt underneath and tan khakis. He leaned his head on Davis' back as they walked to class.

"Is he alright?" TK asked when he caught up to them.

"I'm good." Seiji mumbled , barely audible with his head facing down.

"He had trouble sleeping, so he's going to sleep it off during lunch." Davis said.

"No I'm not." Seiji said.

"Yes you are. We're probably going back today." Davis said. "Unless you want to stay behind in the computer lab."

"I get it, I get it." Seiji grumbled.

"He sounds grumpy." TK said.

"He's always grumpy, he must've gotten used to you already." Davis replied.

"I'm not always grumpy." Seiji said, finally lifting his head.

The day progressed onward. Seiji did end up having to take a nap during lunch and their free period. Finally school was over and so they all met up in the computer room. Seiji was feeling much better and was eating his homemade bento, since he slept through all of lunch. They were waiting for some of the older kids that said they were coming. The computer screen was on, a green light showing that the gate was open.

"How are you able to finish that so fast?" Yolei asked as Seiji packed away his bento.

"Well it's the result of him having to sleep through lunch." Kari said.

"You slept through lunch?" Cody asked.

"I had trouble sleeping last night. It was probably a nightmare or something." Seiji shrugged.

"Hey everyone!" A female voice called as she entered the room, Izzy and Tai at her side.

"Sora!" TK smiled.

"Great, we're all here." Izzy stated with a smile.

"The gate is open too." Seiji said.

"Great then let's get a move on everyone." Tai said.

"Well if it isn't Taichi Yagami!" A teacher said as he entered the room. "Sora and Izzy too! Didn't you all graduate?"

"Mr. Fugiyama!" Tai said in surprise. "Uh you're just the person I was looking for! It's about Junior High! The girls! They're uh, so much older." Tai said as he was practically pushing his former teacher from the room, waving to his friends to go without him.

Seiji had to give to Tai, he was good at improving when it counts. "We owe you one, Tai." Sora said, with a bit of a chuckle.

"Alright let's go then." Izzy said and they all went through the gate to the Digital World.

They all found themselves on a grassy hills that stretched far into the horizon. "Whoa, new clothes!" Yolei said in excitement. "This helmet makes my glasses look smaller!"

"These clothes do feel more comfortable to move around." Cody said.

"Yeah I totally forgot about the whole wardrobe change!" Davis said.

"Wait till I tell my sisters I got free clothes!" Yolei stated.

"Wonder if they have anything in surfer style." Davis said.

"Why, the clothes you're in does you justice. They suit you really well." Seiji smiled.

"Oh uh, if you say so." Davis said.

"Kids these days have no sense of value." Sora said. "When I was their age, I always appreciated any gift I received."

"I'd hate to say it Sora, but you sound just like my mom." Kari giggled.

Soon they were on their way, Izzy and Sora, as well as Davis calling out to their partners, as well as Seiji, but he already figured that he was with Veemon anyways so finding Veemon meant also finding his partner too.

"Davis! Davis I'm over here!" Veemon yelled from two hills over, running towards the group, Kudomon riding on his head. Davis smiled at the sight. Davis met him part of the way and bent down for a hand shake.

Seiji walked up to the three.and smiled when Kudomon immediately jumped to his shoulders. "Well hello to you too."

"Good to have you back." Kudomon replied.

"My shoulders aren't that comfortable to ride on, are they?" Seiji smiled.

"Actually it's very comfortable here."

"Hey Davis, we brought Patamon and some of his friends with us." Veemon told them.

When he said that, four other digimon could be seen running to catch up. Two very familiar to the two resident red heads of the group. "Tentomon!" Izzy yelled at the sight of his digital friend.

"Biyomon!" Sora cried, as the two moved to reunite with their partners once more.

"Izzy! You're a sight for these big, green, sore eyes!" Tentomon said, somewhat hugging Izzy in their own weird way.

"I've missed you Sora!" Biyomon said as Sora pulled the pink bird into a close hug.

"I've missed you too." Sora replied.

Kari and TK reunite with their partners once more. Just as happy as the day before. It was lucky that the gate was open two days in a row, they don't know if that'll be a thimg yet, the gate being open everyday. So they try to enjoy it for as long as they can. Seiji had Kudomon move from his shoulders for a moment and looked at him. "Have we ever met before yesterday?" Seiji asked his partner.

Kudomon gave Seiji an odd stare, before replying. "I don't believe so, we could have, maybe."

A cloud headed over pass them, casting a shadow. When it pulled away, Snimon's shadow was there instead. Snimon chose then to move in, closing in on Sora and Biyomon as they were crouched down, sitting ducks.

"Sora, move!" TK yelled as he pushed the two of them down, out of Snimon's way.

Snimon rose high into the air again, before turning around for a second attack. Patamon, Biyomon, Tentomon and Gatomon tried attacking back, but Snimon managed to dodge or hit a counter attack.

"Davis, it's time to armour digivolve." Veemon said.

"Right!" Davis said, but before Davis could say the words, the ground opened up and Davis fell.

"Davis!" Seiji put Kudomon safely on the ground, before rushing to the edge of the hole, sighing in relief seeing that Davis had caught himself, holding onto a rock. Then he saw the other digimon. It was big, purple, with a drill for a nose.

That's when another Digimon appeared, hitting Veemon with a bone-boomerang attack, causing him to collide into Seiji, down into the hole. Seiji, in reflex grabbed Veemon's arm. "Veemon! Seiji!" Davis yelled as they fell past him. He immediately let go and grab both of them before getting caught by the drill digimon that then retreated back i to the hole.
