Okay, headcannon:
The kids of the big three plus Leo and Grover call Sally mom. Sally takes it as a silly joke, but really, she is their mother figure because none of them have one. Also, she secretly loves it.
Hades and Zeus get angry and upset about it because it shows that they have a very strong sibling connection to Percy, and as Zeus probably once said, "Jason and Thalia should be killing your son Posiedon, not best friends with him!"
