Merry almost Christmas again! So glad you joined me again today! Hope you enjoy this!

This takes place before BotL, when Percy and Annabeth were 14. Hope you enjoy seeing the faces of some of our old favorites!

A head counselors meeting was scheduled for the day. Christmas would be soon and they needed to plan for the cabins.

"Stolls! No stealing gifts from my cabin again!" Katie yelled. The Stolls pouted.

"Why not, Katie Kat?" Travis asked.

"Because if you do I'll kill you!"

"Yes! Murder them! Spill their guts!" Clarisse cheered.

"No Clarisse," Silena said, placing a hand on her shoulder to calm her.

"There will be no killing," Chiron said.

"Dam it!" Clarisse yelled pounding her fist on the table.

Everyone slid away from her in their seats.

"Hey guys? Where are Percy and Annabeth?" Beckendorf asked, looking around and not seeing the pair.

Everyone smirked.

"Let's not go looking for them, I'm sure they're fine," Micheal joked, propping his feet on the table. Everyone chuckled.

Meanwhile with Percabeth...

"Percy! Help me carry these blueprints to the meeting! We're already late!" Annabeth ordered. They had been playing Clue and lost track of time.

"Why do we need blueprints? Aren't we deciding on Christmas decorations?"

"Clearly you've never celebrated Christmas at camp!"

"No. I actually haven't. This is my first."

"Well, I like to make sure everything is perfect."

"Oh."

"Now help me carry these blueprints!" Percy rushed over to Annabeth's side right as she almost dropped the papers. He grabbed them from her hand. As he did so, his fingertips gently brushed against hers and the two blushed.

They headed in the doorway to the Big House, where the meeting was being held.

"Hold on! Back up!" Katie yelled as they burst through the doorway. They followed her command.

"Why?" Annabeth asked.

"Look above your heads," Silena pointed above them. They looked up and Annabeth shot a glare at Silena and Katie for what they did. There, above their heads, was a mistletoe.

"Now you gotta kiss," Beckendorf teased. Percy stared at the mistletoe dumbfounded. Annabeth planted a kiss on Percy's cheek, causing his eyes to go wide. The other head counselors cheered.

Annabeth casually took a seat next to Silena then set her blueprints on the table, acting like nothing had happened.

Percy was a different story. After a couple moments of standing there, Percy took a seat across from her and next to Beckendorf, unsure of what to do. He set the blueprints down on the table over the papers Annabeth had set down. Beckendorf elbowed his ribs and when Percy looked up at him he smirked. Percy turned beet red and looked at the ground.

After the meeting, Percy and Annabeth went their separate ways, both thinking of each other. Finally, Percy had had enough. He needed to know the answer to his question.

He raced to the Athena cabin and knocked on the door.

"Percy? What are you doing here?" Malcolm asked, opening the door.

"I came to talk to Annabeth. Is she here?" He asked nervously. Just then Malcolm fell sideways as you could see a hand push him over. He rubbed his head, but got up and headed to his bunk.

"Yes I am. What do you want Seaweed Brain?" Annabeth questioned.

"I wanted to ask you a question about-"

He was interrupted by Annabeth slamming the door shut, because she didn't want her siblings to hear that she had kissed him. Although, they already had their suspicions about something going on between the two.

"Go on," Annabeth said.

"Today when you kissed me-"

"I had to, for the mistletoe," Annabeth fibbed. Percy's smile faltered.

"Oh." She smiled weakly at him, but what was she supposed to say, 'oh that! That's because I really like you and I really wanted to kiss you, the mistletoe just gave me an excuse.'

"Well. I'm gonna go back to my cabin now, bye," Percy slowly walked away, his head facing the ground. Annabeth wanted to chase (please note the pun) after him, but her legs went stiff as if something was restraining her.

Annabeth never thought she would actually get up the guts to kiss Percy on the lips. Of course, she could fight any monster in her path, climb the lava wall, and go to dangerous places... but kissing her long time crush... that was truly scary.

Maybe next Christmas would be different...

She went to bed that night, with a demigod dream, but not the usual one, instead she saw her and Percy sometime in the near future on Christmas. They were at his apartment snuggled up on the couch. She smiled to herself, even in her sleep. When she woke up bubbly, the cabin was surprised, but they agreed on one thing.

Annabeth like Percy a little more than even she thought.

Merry almost Christmas!

Hope you enjoyed!
